Accommodation: from the gravel parking area around the villa, you pass through the ground-floor portico into the entrance hallway and then into the huge living/dining room, crowned by a remarkable vaulted, tiled ceiling. Proceeding upstairs, you access the first-floor bedrooms, with their typically Tuscan terracotta-tiled floors, whitewashed walls, wrought-iron bedsteads and matching soft furnishings. There are three double rooms and one twin (where the beds can be put together, on request in advance) with three bathrooms, as well as one half bathroom. The two master bedrooms have their ensuite bathrooms. The other two bedrooms shared the third bathroom.

Garden and swimming pool: There are many mature trees in the grounds near the villa, including tall evergreen Cypresses and pines. Geraniums in ceramic pots brighten the gravel surrounds with splashes of warm colour and line the stone wall which looks down over the pool (7 x 11 m, maximum depth 1,5 m – open from mid May to end of October).
The lawns of the pool terrace are enclosed by a hedge, beyond which extend vineyards and the valley, stretching out to the gentle hills on the opposite horizon. Elegant cream sunshades and loungers are provided at the paved poolside, while fruit trees and Tuscany’s trademark evergreen olive trees give their own natural shade. Pots of colourful petunias dotted around the lawn complete the idyllic scene.
