About the home

Our apartment in Roda Beach and Golf Club is situated on the best golf course in Costa Calida and offers tranquility, comfort and leisure for golfers and non-golfers alike.
On the large patio, with table and chairs, barbeque and loungers, you are on a slight rise overlooking the swimming pool 10 meters away. Stay at the back of the patio in the shade, or move forward into the sun, whichever you prefer.
Roda golf course (PGA winter headquarters) is in a secure complex. Renters are eligible for certain perks within the complex, including 20% off golf and 10% off drinks and meals in the clubhouse. For non-golfers, the beaches and tapas bars of the Mar Menor and the Med are a short distance away and offer a variety of watersports, including windsurfing and kitesurfing. The wild Calbanque Regional Park is about 20 minutes drive away and is said to be the most unspoilt and beautiful area of the Med left - definitely a 'must' visit.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms (1 en-suite), and a double sofa bed in the lounge, sleeping a total of 6 people. The fully-equipped kitchen boasts all the essential amenities (washing machine, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, cooker, oven, microwave, coffee perk, toaster, and juicer.

Moving on to the lounge, we have a dining table with room for 6 people so you can enjoy the fruits of your labour in the kitchen If you fancy a relaxing night in, we have a comfortable sofa and chairs, 32 inch flat screen television, books, games, DVD player, i-pod docking station, internet, and PS3 with games.
The lounge leads out to a large patio, sunshine or shade, with table & chairs and barbecue overlooking the pool. There is a safe in the en-suite bedroom.

The apartment is air conditioned (silent) with central heating throughout.

Further details outdoors:
The weather is warm and sunny from the early hours of every morning, but our patio also has plenty of shade so you can comfortably stay out there all day. The patio overlooks the swimming pool and is equipped with a table & chairs, loungers and a barbecue.

The bleeper for underground car park no 35 (opposite stairs to apartment) and card allowing 10% off drinks and meals in clubhouse, 20% off golf fees can be obtained from Marianne who will meet you at entrance of complex and attend to all your needs during your holiday. Just let her know when you will arrive and then contact her when you have got your hire car (10 minutes from San Javier airport, 50 Minutes from Alicantie) The lounge is south facing over looking pool which 10 meters away, in a small peaceful circular complex with sun and shade from early morning.
A good holiday guaranteed!

1. Key can be obtained at right hand apartment at left hand side (in Mariann Lillis's apartment)
of pool.

2. To enter the apartment, turn key with name of key down 5 times clockwise. PULL door .

3 The grilles in lounge and en-suite are raised using the buttons on the right hand side of the windows.

4 The grilles in the kitchen and back bedroom are opened by pulling the strap. When closing pull strap towards you.



.5 At the end of your stay, leave the key with Mrs Marian Lillis who for a fee will clean the bedclothes and tidy the apartment. This fee is a condition of your rental

6 HAVE A GOOD HOLIDAY.

Conditions

50% of fees payable on booking. Remainder 1 month before holiday plus £100 deposit PAYABLE which is refundable on inspection on departure by Mariann providing every thing is in order. Booking fees are non refundable if full amount is not paid. Marianne will charge a fee depending on what is needed to restore the apartment to its original condition. Bed clothes and towels will probably need laundered if you are leaving early.

The Costa Calida region

Excellent facilities for shopping, sport and leisure are all nearby. The area is great for dining out with varied cuisine to suit every budget.

The region of Murcia has thousands of years of history. Explore the medieval streets in Murcia and Cartagena. Visit the historical and religious sites.The artistic and architectural heritage of the Region of Murcia is to be savoured. A trip you will always remember! There are 10 golf courses within 15 miles of resort.

The area enjoys 320 days of sunshine a year , the most in Spain.There is a continuous light breeze in summer which makes the higher temperatures much more pleasant. Temperatures of 20-22 degrees are common during January-Febuary. It does get chilly at night but then you have central heating.

The Los Alcazares / Roda Golf area

Roda beach and golf club has been devoloped by the prestigious 5 star De Vere group, situated on the best golf course in Costa Calida and that includes the courses at La Manga. It is 2kms from Los Alcazares formally a fishing village, on Mar Menor, now a town with lots of restaurants and supermarkets, but there is at the centre the old village, with its narrow streets, small shops and tapas bars where the locals eat, perfect for lunches. You will love exploring this area. The market every Saturday in the town should not be missed.

Mar Menor, an inland sea (7% warmer than the Mediterranean) renowned for its medicinal qualities is 2 km away. There is a beautiful walk along the beach lined with old houses and restaurants.

. For those of you who are not tied to certain dates it is best to shop around for cheaper flights before you decide on period of your holiday. Some of the airlines worth looking into are monarch,flybe,jet2, easyjet,bmibaby and ryanair.The cheapest car hire can be booked on line before you go. If you shop around you can knock 40-50% off the price that is payable on arrival .A car is not entirely essential but if you want to explore the area it would be needed.

The cost of a return is £50-£140 depending on season. Take motorway (Cartegena) to Los Alcazares norte 2nd turn to resort 1/2 klm on right.
WHO WANTS A LONG JOURNEY AFTER A FLIGHT, RODA GOLF IS 5-7 MINUTES FROM MURCIA AIRPORT,45 minutes from Alicante.
Alicante is 45 minutes away on motorway(Cartegena) turn off at Los Alcazares north and take second turn right.

“Perfect Stay” Just returned from Scottish School week at this lovely apartment which was clean and very well furnished. Outside space had everything you needed and was a sun trap even in this winter month. Mariann who looks after the flat was very helpful and it's great that she just stays over the other side of the pool. Would have not hesitation in recommending this well appointed apartment and look forward to returning again. Elaine, Chris and Ciara Glasgow

“perfecto para disfrutar con niños” Hemos estado quince dias en el mes de agosto y la verdad que es un sitio ideal para pasar unas vacaciones con la familia. El piso está bien equipado y limpio. Además la urbanización donde está el apartamento es muy bonita y cuidada. Los niños pueden disfrutar del jardin y la piscina, y además la playa está cerca.Si además te gusta jugar al golf el campo es perfecto para su practica. Flan y Marian nos atendieron fenomenal en todo momento. En definitiva una buena opcion para pasar unas vacaciones con niños.
