Chalet Eglantine is located in the centre of Les Gets, a traditional alpine town linked to the Portes du Soleil. The Portes du Soleil region is the largest interconnected ski area in the world and boasts 628kms of pistes, 288 marked slopes, 209 ski lifts and covers 8 French ski resorts and 6 Swiss resorts.

In summer, the area is a favourite for walkers and mountain bikers alike, with many of the ski-lifts open to access the mountains at altitude.

Ground floor:
· Entrance hall.
· Shower-room with WC and double sink.

First floor:
· Kitchen with large dining table.
· Open plan sitting room - with English/French TV and iPod/CD music system.

Second floor:
· Double bedroom.
· Bathroom with shower and WC.
· Twin bedroom.

In addition to an enclosed private garden, there is a large boot/ski locker equipped with an electric dryer that will dry your boots overnight and heat them up in the morning (luxury!).

Towels and linen are included in the rental price. The property will be cleaned between lets, but nevertheless, please leave the chalet in a clean and tidy condition. A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to secure your booking and full payment will be required 6 weeks prior to the start date of your holiday. If the holiday start date is within 6 weeks, then full payment will be required. Saturday is the usual changeover day, but other days/short stays may be able to be accommodated. The chalet will be ready for occupation by 16:00 on the day of arrival and MUST be vacated by 10:00 on the day of departure. Prices do not include flights, transfers, insurance, ski pass, boot and ski hire.

“A home from home in a perfect location.” Thank you Richard, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eglantine. I would definitely recommend it for a family or group stay, it has everything needed for a great ski holiday, and the location could not be better, placed within easy walks to both ski areas in Les Gets.

“Fabulous chalet in excellent location” We stayed at chalet Englantine over new year 2012/13 and can safely say it exceeded expectations. It was in a brilliant location so no need for ski buses to get to the slopes. As someone as previously mentioned, the pictures don't do it justice and there was plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 kids...plus it was warm and toasty all the time! We had private lessons with ESF for our 2 daughters (aged 9 and 12) mainly because I left it too late to book group lessons...but this worked out better as I think they progressed at a much quicker rate. We also used Evasion Sports for our ski hire and took advantage of the 15% discount that the owner Richard has sorted out. Finally, we had excellent communication from Richard and we would definitely come again. Thanks!

“Can't fault it” Just returned from our second holiday in the chalet Eglantine. Can't praise / recommend the chalet or the owner (Richard) highly enough. The chalet itself has all you could wish for and more - even has a docking station for your IPOD! Also plenty of space for our group of 7. Very close to the ski areas with only a five minutes walk to the closest lifts. Les Gets and Morzine had more than enough skiing to keep us occupied. However, for the really keen (and fit) the Portes du Soleil is easily accessible. Les Gets itself is perfect. Feels like a real village and has loads of restaurants, bars and shops. If you're looking for a very comfortable, fully equipped, affordable skiing holiday for a group of up to 8 then look no further.

“Spacious luxury apartment in a great location” We stayed as a group of 6, 4 adults and 2 children our stay started the 4th Feb 2012. The chalet was well equipped, furnished to a high standard and very spacious to accomodate everyone and all the skiing equipment. My only gripe as in previous reviews was the lack of a toaster but there is an excellent bakery two doors away to buy hot crossiants etc. The shower in the ground floor bathroom was excellent to come back to after a a hard days skiing. The location of the chalet is excellent for all amenities and we hired skis from le blanc sports in the town the service we received was fantastic and we also kept our skis and boots there overnight. The 2 boys where in the ESF ski school with an english speaking instructor and the rest of our party was of mixed ability but we all found enough terrain to test our skills. We all had a fantasic time and hope to return next year.

“Excellent chalet in friendly french town with enough skiing for 1 week” Chalet size - excellent, the pictures don't do it justice. Chalet quality - excellent with the wood giving a warm feel. the background heating and insulation keep it snug. Location - Excellent, that 50 yards from the ice rink ensues it is a quiet area but still very close to centre. If I try very hard to be picky I would prefer a larger double bed and would accept slightly less space around the bed. However I'm sure that there are others who would have the opposite view. On the first day I might have suggested a toaster in the kitchen but then you would miss out on the French start to the day. As regards price levels I think you are in the right range. If you reduce price to get greater usage through the year you might find the clientele changes with more problems arising. Les Gets as a town/village is superb with all the restaurants we tried being far superior to the equivalent UK.

“Fab chalet, great location, well equipped” A very well equipped chalet, good location and plenty of room for our mixed group of adults and small children to spread out. Warm, well maintained and decorated, felt very homely. Plenty of hot water after a day on the slopes. We will definetly be going back next year.
