Above the village of Stoupa in Messinian Mani of Peloponnese region, the villa is literally hanging on the hillside offering panoramic views over the Messinian Gulf and Taygetos Mountain and direct access -2.5km- to the beautiful Stoupa and Kalogria beaches famous for its sand and clean waters.

Situated in a very quiet location only 4 minutes drive from Stoupa village,villa Phoebe was built in harmony with the natural environment with respect to the Mani landscape using the art and the tradition of local artisans.

Fully furnished and equipped with all modern amenities, the holiday rental villa is decorated with objects coming from the 60s, 50s, and older in a mixture of old time warmth with modern luxury and comfort.

Leading from the living room is a very spacious veranda with stunning sea views full furnished to enable you to dine outside.From the veranda direct access to the spacious stonepaved surrounding area with the outdoor Spa hot tub and the BBQ.

With one double and one twin bedroom, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The villa is fully furnished and decorated with authentic vintage objects,free WI-Fi internet,fully air-conditioned, towels- linen and maid service provided.Villa Phoebe will make you feel at home providing all that is necessary for your privacy and peaceful stay in Mani.

The GROUND FLOOR level has an open plan kitchen and spacious living room with A/C, TV LCD, DVD, Internet WI-Fi connection and comfortable sofas around the fireplace with views over Messinian bay. Large dining area with seating for 4-6 guests. WC with a washing machine. Direct access to the large veranda.

Also available for an extra guest is the sofa that can become a single bed.

In the UPPER FLOOR there are 2 separate bedrooms with A/C and a comfortable bathroom. The bedrooms are set on the front of the villa so from both rooms can enjoy unobstructed sea views and unforgettable sunsets.

From both rooms direct access to the upper floor balcony.

The Lefktron / Stoupa area

Stoupa itself is packed with great restaurants and good quality tavernas, bars and nightclubs as well as plenty of shops supermarkets,bank (ATM), and places of historical interest.
Stoupa was once just a small fishing harbour, but its fine beaches, the best in the region, have made it a popular small holiday resort since the nineteen-eighties. But Stoupa is not only about family holidays, it is the gateway to some wonderful opportunities for exploration of the magnificent scenery, on foot, by bike or car and the ancient sites of Olympia, Sparta and Mistra are easily reached from here.Villa Phoebe is in the middle of a very beautiful area. Along the coast there are several other SEASIDE VILLAGES to visit like Kardimili, Agios Nikolaos, Agios Dimitrios and Trachila. Each is unique and all are well worth a visit.

In a distance from 1 to15 km. from villa Phoebe there are lovely MOUNTAIN VILLAGES to explore like Tseria, Exochori, Saidona, Proastio, Kastania, Pyrgos, Niohori, Milia,Platsa, Langada and Nomitsi, that take you back in time to 60 years ago. Most of them have a small taverna or two where you can stop and enjoy dishes prepared with local products.Towers and tower houses from past times that still smell gun powder create a fairy-tale scenery that brings the visitor back many centuries.

The MANI is unique in the splendour of its scenery and in its architecture (fortified towers,towerhouses,byzantine churches and chapels) and Stoupa is the ideal centre for the discovery of the area.

UNIQUE BEACHES like Kalogria,Stoupa,Delfinia,Ritsa,Foneas,Pantazi and Gnospi are all in a few minutes drive.


More than 200 Byzantine and post Byzantine small churches with magnificent frescoes are scattered in the greater Mani area.

Worth visiting are also the famous Mani towers such as Douraki at Kastania, Kitriniari at Exohori, Mourtzinou at old Kardamyli and Christea at Ag. Dimitrios.

For walking holidays there are many old footpaths and the beautiful Vyrou and Noupanti Gorges.

For off-road funs Vassiliki forest, one of the greater black pine forests in Europe, is easily accessible with an suv from Saidona and Milia villages, an alternative way to wander in Taygetos mountain.

At St Dimitrios village the unexplored Katafygi Cave. The world famous Dirou Cave (30 km).

Mistras Byzantine castle city (98 km).
