this is a home from home holiday gite. The finish and the furnishings are fantastic. I can honestly say we have never experience such luxurious bedding and towels in all our years of travelling around Europe . The owners are available for advice and directions. We would highly recommend this to all. We booked it at the very last minute, the day before we arrived ,without any hiccups |

Our daughter booked this B&B for us, as we wanted to see Normandy beaches and experience the history of the area. We arrived late, and were welcomed by Tina who in turn sent email message to daughter to let her know we arrived safely. The accomodations were wonderful and Tina was very helpful in giving us information of who, what, & where to go in area and even directions on how to get back to Paris airport ! The breakfasts were delicious, we throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone..You won't be disappointed! |

Met by such a warm welcome, the gite is immaculate throughout with absolutely everything you could ever need for self catering, we arrived later than expected to a 'more' than Welcome pack provided for us (including a well appreciated bottle of the local tipple....(wine and cider) Within minutes we felt at home in the snuggly lounge, the kitchen has EVERYTHING included, bedrooms are large with very comfortable beds, and the bathroom has one powerful shower...just what is needed after a day sight seeing!! The Gite is situated in a small quiet village but close to all Normandy D-Day Landing beaches and tourist attractions, with the gorgeous beaches being 15 minutes away. We spent 7 nights at the Gite and the time just flew by, we were out all day either sight seeing or relaxing on the beach, and it was lovely to come 'home' on an evening to such a chilled and beautiful environment, sitting out doors with a glass of wine looking out over the open countryside, and beautifully kept gardens. Tina and Allan couldn't have been better hosts, being there if we needed assistance or if we needed any tips on where to go, and Allan's knowledge on World War II is amazing, I could sit and listen to him talk about the area all night (and one night we did!!) I would recommend this gite to anyone wanting a fabulous holiday in a relaxed setting. We can't wait to return in October. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!! |
