About the home

Villa Jade's lower ground floor apartment is a lovely finished modern space tiled throughout, from the lounge there are large glass sliding doors leading out onto a beautiful stone terrace with outside table,chairs, unbrella and 2 sun loungers. The views from the terrace are amazing looking out over the garden & out to the sea and mountains. From the terrace there is a beautiful stone staircase with lighting leading down to the beach where you can swim in crystal clear waters.
The apartment is air-conditioned and has dimer switch lighting for a romantic feel. Villa Jade also has its own boat mooring on a lovely stone dock..The lower ground floor apartment is brand new for the season 2008 and has been finished to a lovely and modern standard. The lower ground floor apartment is ideal for a couple or small family.

PLEASE NOTE: WE HAVE 4 OTHER APARTMENTS TO RENT WITHIN VILLA JADE IF THE LOWER GROUND FLOOR APARTMENT IS NOT SUITABLE OR THERE IS NO AVAILABILITY. It consists of a lounge area with double sofa bed, coffe table and chair, flat screen T.V - CD player.
The apartment has a fitted kitchen with breakfast bar & stools. Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink with lit dressing mirror. The bedroom consists of double bed with bedsides & lamps, waldrobe and dressing table and air conditioning. There is use of our proffesional steam iron within the laundry room, additionall there is a laundry service available on request if required.

Villa Jade is situated on a small cliff with wonderful sea and mountain views with terraced gardens and a beautiful stone staircase which leads down to the beach where you can relax and swim in crystal clear seas.
The lower ground floor apartment has a lovely stone terrace with out door table, chairs and unbrella + 2 sun loungers. The views from the terraces at Villa Jade are absolutly stunning looking out over the sea and mountains, with easy access down to the beach.
Villa Jade also has its own prvate boat mooring located on a beautiful stone dock infront of the house.

The Dubrovnik Riviera/Islands region

Korcula is the greenest and one of the most beautiful and most interesting of Croatia's 1000 or so Adriatic islands and was said to be a favourite Greek holiday spot over 2000 years ago and the birth place of the great traveller Marco Polo. Korcula old town is described as a mini fortress, a walled city enclosed within honey coloured stone walls that contain a labyrinth of quaint cobbled streets with many architectural delights, art-galleries, lots of lovely shops, restaurants and bars. All this is just a 10 minute scenic walk along the coast from the villa Jade.

The Korcula / Medvinjak area

Various day trips are available by boat to the beautiful ancient walled city for Dubrovnik and the lovely islands of Hvar, Mljet and Lastovo. Things to do include: Local boat hire (licence required)), Scuba diving and local scuba school, wind surfing and various water sports, walking, fishing and bicycle hire

There are two international airports on the Adriatic south coast to choose from for travelling to Korcula.
Split Internaitonal Airport try www.easyjet.com, www.ba.com or www.thomsonfly.com for Dubrovnik International Airport try www.easyjet.com or www.ba.com or www.thomsonfly.com.
On arrival at Split airport there is a regular bus service waiting at arrivals to take you on the 30 minutes journey to the port of Split, or alternatively by the local taxi service. From the port you can take the high speed catamaran or Jadrolinija ferry link. On arrival on the island of Korcula it is just a five minute ride by taxi to Villa Jade in our lovely village of Medvinjak.
On arrival at Dubrovnik airport, you can take the regular bus service or taxi to the port of Dubrovnik where again Catamaran and Jadrolinija ferry line depart to the island of Korcula. Alternatively from Dubrovnik airport it is possible to hire a car and to take the scenic drive along the Adriatic coast road, out along the Peljesac channel.

Please note conditions to booking: A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking. on receipt a written confirmation will be sent out. The balance due to be paid at least 60 days before the holiday. Please also include an additional security deposit of £150.00 per apartment to cover breakages, missing items etc. On leaving the apartments in good order the deposit will be refunded no later than 7 days from the date of your return home. Payments accepted, Cash, cheque or bank transfer. Where a booking is cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival the cancellation fee is 50% of deposit, bookings cancelled within 45 days of arrival the cancellation fee is 100% of deposit. Final cleaning is payable in advance on arrival to key holder. Main floor & attic apt charged at 160 kuna (approx £20) Ground floor 1,2 & lower ground floor apartments charged at 120 kuna (approx £15)
