Home description
Both ground floor apartments are finished to a high standard and basically the same, each sleeping 2 +2 persons and consisting of a very spacious lounge diner with sliding glass doors leading straight on to a large stone terrace 12m x 3m with fantastic sea and mountain views directly infront of the villa. The lounge diner consists of fully fitted kitchen, dining table for inside and outside use inc umbrella, coffee table, corner sofa which converts easily into a comfortable double bed. SAT T.V, full air-conditioning, one double bedroom with bedside table's & lamps,double wardrobe. Large bathroom includes shower, toilet, sink and lit dressing mirror. Private car parking is provided at the front of the villa. NOTE: There is an interconnecting door between the two ground floor apartments 1 & 2 allowing them to be used as one big apartment for a large family or group sleeping up to 8 persons. The Dubrovnik Riviera/Islands region
Korcula is the greenest and one of the most beautiful and most interesting of Croatia's 1000 or so Adriatic islands and was said to be a favourite Greek holiday spot over 2000 years ago and the birth place of the great traveller Marco Polo. Korcula old town is described as a mini fortress, a walled city enclosed within honey coloured stone walls that contained a labyrinth of quaint cobbled streets with many architectural delights, art-galleries, lots of lovely shops, restaurants and bars. All this is just a 10 minute scenic walk along the coast from the villa Jade. Various day trips are available by boat to the beautiful ancient walled city for Dubrovnik and the lovely islands of Hvar, Mljet and Lastovo.
Korcula / Medvinjak area
Things to do include ; Local boat hire (licence required)), Scuba diving and local scuba school, wind surfing & variety of water sports, sailing, bicycle hire, swimming, tennis, walking etc
How to get there
There are two international airports on the Adriatic south coast to choose from for travelling to Korcula. Split Internaitonal Airport try www.easyjet.com www.whizzair.com or www.thomsonfly.com for Dubrovnik International Airport try www.ba.com or www.thomsonfly.com.
On arrival at Split airport there is a regular bus service waiting at arrivals to take you on the 30 minutes journey to the port of Split, or alternatively by the local taxi service. From the port you can take the high speed catamaran or Jadrolinija ferry link. On arrival on the island of Korcula it is just a five minute ride by taxi to Villa Jade in our lovely village of Medvinjak.
On arrival at Dubrovnik airport, you can take the regular bus service or taxi to the port of Dubrovnik where again Catamaran and Jadrolinija ferry line depart to the island of Korcula.
Alternatively from Dubrovnik airport it is possible to hire a car and to take the scenic drive along the Adriatic coast road, out along the Peljesac channel

Further details outdoors: Villa is situated on a small cliff with wonderful sea and mountain views with terraced gardens and a beautiful stone staircase down to the beach where you can relax and swim in crystal clear seas. Villa Jade also has its own private boat mooring on a beautiful stone dock infront of the house.

Please note conditions to booking: A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking. on receipt a written confirmation will be sent out. The balance due to be paid at least 60 days before the holiday. Please also include an additional security deposit of £150.00 per apartment to cover breakages, missing items etc. On leaving the apartments in good order the deposit will be refunded no later than 7 days from the date of your return home. Payments accepted, Cash, cheque or bank transfer. Where a booking is cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival the cancellation fee is 50% of deposit, bookings cancelled within 45 days of arrival the cancellation fee is 100% of deposit.
