9 Duncraig Street is a beautifully refurbished traditional stone teraced house built in the late 1890s maintaining many of its original features including open coal fires and wooden floors. It is spread across two floors and is extremely comfortable with fully double glazed windows and gas central heating ensuring a warm interior whatever the season.

On the ground floor the living room is provided with digital television, dvd and ipod dock. The dining room has a large oak table to seat six people. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with tea, fresh coffee, sugar etc and leads out onto a slate terrace as part of the private walled garden.

Upstairs on the first floor there is a modern family bathroom with separate enclosed power shower and also a deep bath to soak in after a hard days shopping, sightseeing or adventure. Three lovely bedrooms with two having double beds and the other having two singles.

There is also free wi fi access throughout the house.

9 Duncraig Street is ideally located for anyone who wishes a base from which to explore the Scottish Highlands.

Just a short walk from both the central bus and railway stations and only 8 miles from the airport, 9 Duncraig Street is very easy to get to.

9 Duncraig Street is in a perfect position as its within five minutes walking distance of the centre of the city yet benefits from being on a restricted side street with visitor permit parking for one car.

Inverness itself has lovely tree lined walks along the river banks and through its islands. There is an extremely good theatre, cinema, swimming pool, ice rink and restaurants nearby.

If you are interested in history, the Culloden battlefield is only a few miles out of the city. Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle a short fifteen minute drive. For those who would like to explore further a visit to areas such as Skye, the North West and North East coasts are possible although you may be tempted just to go and watch dolphins or take on the whisky trail. Its been known after a dram or two to even see the Loch Ness Monster.

Whatever your interests are: walking, mountain biking, cycling, fishing, watersports, golf, visiting castles, history, Inverness and the Highlands has lots to offer.

"Excellent House, Perfect Location!"

We (4 adults) spend 5 lovely days in Inverness.
Well equipped & comfortable house which met all our needs. Well located in central Inverness. With a supermarket just around the corner.
Even comes with a parking permit, which makes parking in front of the door really easy!
Everything in the house is so well looked after and so clean. We would highly recommend this house to anyone. And we will definitely stay again!

"Wonderful house in a great location."

9 Duncraig Street is a spacious, well equipped, very clean property. It is set in a great location only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Inverness. The train station is only a 5 minute walk and a Tesco metro is directly behind the house. Clear and comprehensive directions to the property were provided by the owners and upon arrival we found a food welcome pack, a nice touch ! Free Wi-Fi is provided which is essential for anybody with teenagers ! There is a small enclosed garden with patio furniture and a barbeque. We had a great holiday staying in this property. The price we paid for the week's rental was excellent value and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to others.
Inverness is a wonderful place to visit with plenty of things to do and the scenery in the area is absolutely stunning. Whin Park is a great place for family fun and a trip out to Carrbridge to visit the Landmark adventure park is well recommended, an awesome day out for young and old !

"Tasteful, comfortable home with great central location"

Lovely house,short walk from town centre.
Comfortable, tasteful furnishings. Very clean.
Great little garden which we enjoyed using, eating meals there in the sun.
Better wi-fi than at home.
Well equipped kitchen with lots of little extras available - tea, coffee, oils, sauces, cleaning liquids etc. Also a welcome pack of fresh bread, milk and things. There is a very handy (but not too close to be noisy) Tesco metro 3 mins walk away.

Very helpful and accommodating owners.

Street parking right by the front door.

Inverness is a great city, just a few minutes pleasant walk over the river.
Be advised to book if you want to eat out at weekends and most shops shut by 17.30.
Lots of things to do without travelling too far. Some highlights were seeing dolphins close to shore at Chanory Point just north of inverness and a distillery visit (we looked out for a small one). Lovely beaches, lots of walking, castles, Loch Ness ( you should book a fortnight!)

"Very good Quality of Holiday-Flat"

Inverness as Location is very good. The house is good located. All necessary shops and a lot of pubs and Restaurans are only some minutes away from this house. And the Owners Ewen and Donna are very pleasant and helpful.

We would like to thank our guests for taking the time to leave this positive feedback. The review kindly notes that our house is well located. It is within five minutes walk of Inverness town centre, shops and resteraunts. There is also an extremely good theatre, cinema, swimming pool, ice rink and restaurants nearby.
