About the home

"Casa Conti di Sotto", is a rural house renovated in 2008 between the green Mediterranean maquis and marvellous undulating landscape. There are 2 swimming pools, a solarium, (the small is heating) a unheated hydro massage, Jacuzzi, a large relaxing park with hammocks, a barbecue garden and playground for children, Wifi and parking.

A kneipp massage bath and a natural pool is now available in wonderful garden!

You will find for your holidays in this beautiful rural house an independent house for up to 8 people. Possibility to taste organic oil, wine, honey, organic fruits and vegetables.

Casa Conti di Sotto lies at the very heart of the "Maremma Toscana", just few minutes from the most beautiful beaches of "Riviera Toscana". It is just 1 km from Gavorrano, a little old village (where you'll find good restaurants, pizzerie, bar, theatre, cinema, supermarket open also in Sunday, (pro loco informations-local market).

In "Casa Conti di Sotto" you'll find a very nice house renovated in 2008. Villa Giulia is ideal for a big family with 3 double bedrooms, 2 sofa beds and 2 bathrooms. The house has a characteristic Tuscan fireplace and a square with a gazebo ideal for eating outside. You can enjoy our breakfast service in the garden or directly in your house. Bed linen, towels, safe, dish washer and final cleaning included in the price. Dish washer available. It's possible to taste oil, wine, honey, fruit and organic vegetables.

The house is provided with private entrance and independent central heating. 2 swimming pools ( one heated for kids), solarium, a beautiful big heated hydro massage, playground, large barbecue area, bowling green, tennis table, relaxing park with hammocks.

Thermal town (20 minutes). Golf (3 km), archaeological site (Vetulonia - Roselle-Scarlino-Massa Marittima).

“A true Mini Paradise - The best holiday ever!!” Casa conti di sotto is a truely magical tranquil destination, with the perfect combination of relaxation and activities onsite. We stayed for two weeks for our honeymoon in the gorgeous 'Villa Mimosa'. Casa conti di sotto is situated in the beautiful Gavorrano, which is a lovely quiet town, but close enough to travel to rome, pisa or the beautiful beach in follonica. We also took the ferry to the island of Elba- which was stunning. Casa conti had a gorgeous swimming pool (and a lovely childs pool too), hammocks to relax in the sun, a jacuzzi, on site made fresh produce and wine, a table tennis table and very friendly on site personnel. We met some very nice people of differing nationalities and this made our stay much more enjoyable. There is also a lovely pizzeria in the town and 'bellavista' restaurant, which serves some fantastic local cuisine. I would recommend Casa conti di sotto to anyone, and I cant wait to visit again soon!!!

“Fantastic Tuscan experience” We had a wonderful week staying in Villa Guilia at Casa conti di sotto. It is rural and authentically Tuscan. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The pool is great, there are numerous relaxation areas and the jacuzzi is a great bonus. We did day trips out to the coastal beaches of Follonica and Punta Ala (about 20 minutes drive) and the incredible, historic San Gimignano and Siena were about 90 minutes away by car. At night we had log fires burning in our kitchen and we were even given local wine and bread to try. We couldn't ask for more and recommend to anyone who wants real Tuscany with a bit of luxury thrown in.

“We fell in love with Tuscany” I should say that we travelled a lot in Italy before. But it was either business trips or visiting touristic centers with crowds of tourists, noise, crush, traffic jams and all those things that are so typical for big cities and that we are so seek and tired of! And once our business partner, whose family is from Tuscany, told us that if we want to learn Italy as it is, we should go to Tuscany, as Italy starts from Tuscany! And we decided to go and found via internet absolutely charming place in Gavorrano, Grosseto province – Casa Conti di Sotto. We chose Villa Mimosa, as it seemed to us to be very typical ancient Tuscany architecture. Though Casa is very close to Gavorrano, it is so well hidden in the hills that it is not so very easy to find it for the first time, and only thanks to our landlady Mrs. Laura (lady with excellent housekeeping skills) and her assistant, who met us at the station, we reached our apartments without additional surprises. Due to Casa location, it is very calm and quiet. The surroundings are very picturesque – all hills are covered with forests. The apartments on the territory of the casa is of ancient Tuscany architecture, but it doesn't prevent you to feel absolutely comfortable there, as all the apartments are upgraded and we had well equipped kitchen with dishwashing machine, wonderful bathroom with all the facilities. And all these modern things are so organically fit into old architecture that we did not feel any discord. There are 2 pools on the territory – one, the smaller, is for children, the other one is for adults. The territory is very big and in case you want to stay in Casa for the whole day – it will not be a boring experience. Casa location makes you come there by car. We spent there 10 wonderful days, travelled a lot, visited many small Tuscany towns, restaurants, tasted Tuscany cuisine and delicious wine and got a delightful feeling that we've found soul of sunny Tuscany! Thank you !

“Un posto indimenticabile” Conoscevo già la zona ma non ero a conoscenza di questo posto che mi ha suggerito un'amica dopo a ci passato le vacanze. Lo consiglio a tutti per: bellezza del paesaggio, pulizia delle stanze, piscina grande e accessibile anche per i bambini piccoli, da non sottovalutare il fatto che tutti gli appartamenti sono accessoria ti meglio di qualunque casa vacanze in cui io sia stata. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, lo consiglio a tutti.
