LEO APARTMENT This is a beautiful apartment, furnished to an exceptionally high standard.and in the best location in Fuengirola. Elegant living/dining room, beautifully furnished with two comfortable double sofas. Patio doors leading to a large balcony with lounge and dining furniture. Television/dvd/video player. Cd/radio/cassette player. Bedroom (1) en-suite with double bed and furnishings. Patio doors leading out to the balcony. Bedroom (2) en-suite with two single beds and furniture. Well equipped kitchen overlooking the beautiful gardens, fountain and swimming pool. Fridge freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and much more. Large utility room with washing machine, iron and ironing board. Strictly non smoking. We also have a one bedroom, two bedroom, and a three bedroom apartment in Puebla Lucia, a four bedroom duplex penthouse nearby in La Paloma and a studio apartment in the Las Palmeras Hotel. The Costa del Sol region
Malaga is a Port City and has much to offer the tourist. Things to see are: The King's Palace (Alcazaba) and Castillo de Gibralfaro, Cathedral, Museums, Churches, Picasso Museum and birthplace. It is a fabulous shopping area with lots of narrow streets and tapas bars. (website - www.andalucia.com) There is an excellent theatre in the centre of Malaga - Cervantes Theatre. Events can be found on their web-site (www.teatrocervantes.com) Train station in central Malaga with many routes for touring.
The Fuengirola / Puebla Lucia area
Publa Lucia is an exclusive residential area in the heart of Fuengirola. A gated 'Pueblo' providing an oasis of peace and tranquility and yet within a short walking distance to everything required. Five minutes walk to the bus and train terminus. Beach, promenade, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, open-air markets, Salon Varietes English speaking theatre (not in high season), concert hall and hospital are all minutes walk away. The puebla has three excellent swimming pools. There is also a first class restaurant and cafe/bar overlooking the fountains and beautiful gardens. Puebla Lucia is perfect for the holiday maker looking for quality accommodation within a peaceful environment. This is an ideal location. Buses and trains take you to many places of interest ie; Malaga, Mijas, Marbella, Cadiz, Ronda, Cordoba, Seville, Granada and Gibraltar (passport for Gib) A car is definitely not essential.
Fuengirola is a large Spanish town about twenty minutes drive from Malaga Airport. It has seven kilometres of tree lined promenade (flat for easy walking) and fabulous sandy beaches with magnificent views of the Mediterranian. Most residents in Fuengirola are Spanish nationals with a large percentage of British and other nationalities. The town hosts many local fiestas throughout the year. The most famous events are Semana Santa (Easter Week) and Feria Week in October.

Most budget airlines have daily flights to Malaga Airport. There is a taxi rank outside arrivals, but it is much cheaper to use the train which is now inside the airport. Directions for train to Fuengirola are: Coming out from Malaga Airport arrivals, turn left and you will see the train signs. After a few yards, cross over the road to the train station. The ticket machines are just inside, and the cost to Fuengirola is just over 2 euros per person. The escalator takes you down to the train arrivals and departures. The very last stop is Fuengirola (underground). When you arrive at Fuengirola station, you will need your train ticket to get you through the turnstile. The steps to the right will take you to the railway exit and Fuengirola. At the top of the steps there is Fountain opposite and supermarket to the left. Turn left, passing the supermarket and continue up this road for a few yards (Avenida Alcalde Clemente Diaz Ruis) Cross over to the hospital (Clinic Salus) and continue walking up this road. Puebla Lucia is a gated residential area on the right between Clinic Salus at the bottom and Barclays Bank at the top)

The Leo apartment excels in all respects! We spent nearly 4 weeks over Christmas 2012 & the New Year here. Beautiful apartment, well furnished, comfortable and relaxing within the quiet oasis that is Puebla Lucia. Every amenity provided - all the crockery, cutlery, cooking accessories and similar amenities plus a great selection of CDs, DVDs, books, games etc. etc.. Lovely sunny and large balcony, beautiful bathrooms, lovely living area - a home from home. Just minutes from the centre of town with easy access to the railway station, tourist office, supermarkets and shops as well as all the delightful tapas bars, cafes and restaurants. We just could not have chosen a better location or apartment. The owners son lives upstairs and was extremely helpful whenever we had a need for information. We can recommend this without any reservations or qualifications whatsoever - the perfect choice for 3 or 4 people who want a peaceful break but are in easy strolling distance of all that Fuengirola has to offer. We will return! Delighted to answer any questions about the place or things to do and places to go. |

Having stayed at the Leo on several occasions we can unreservedly recommend the apartment and the gated complex. Both kept to the highest standard of maintenance with first amenities. The apartment is spacious with everything a discerning holiday maker could hope for. Can't wait to return. |

As soon as we walked in to Puebla Lucia we felt comfortable, olde world comfiness and style. We do feel the sofas were well past there best though, nice large fresh throws would have felt better. The main bedroom was really lovely. Loved the outdoor area with settees and tables, looking out on to lots of greenery. Trouble is you won't get any sunshine on this terrace as it is not facing the right way, nice in summer months though. Easy walk to train/shops/beach etc., It felt like an oasis of calm in the middle of busy Funegirola. Only two real negatives for us was no dishwasher and lots of ants, as soon as a piece of food was put on kitchen benches there were dozens of them. |
