"Casa Laura" is on the 4 th floor without lift so it isn't suitable for wheelchair users or elderly people with walking problems .

The beaches of Follonica, Cala Violina, Cala Martina, Punta Ala, Castiglione della Pescaia, Argentario, Talamone, Porto santo Stefano (10 to 50 km away), the island of Elbe and Giglio, Giannutri, Montecristo,the local bazaars as well as the dell'Uccellina Nature Park.

My wife and I have just had a wonderful week (September 2011) in this apartment. It is spacious, well appointed and in the most perfect location - Very close to beach/shops/restaurants and train station. But best of all, the covered market with fantastic fresh fish. A great base for travelling by rail - Siena, Elba and lots of other spots. I would recommend it to anyone other than the very old, infirm or with young children. The apartment is on the top floor and has some great views. |
