Borgo degli Aranci is reached by a long trach running throught the organic orange groves and boast faboulous views in all directions. The large and subtly designed pool fits well with the lawned terracing and the buildings. There are plenty of shaded areas for outdoor dining and relaxing.
The grounds contain lovely gardens, a swimming pool, orange groves and olive trees. There is plenty of space to walk and be free.
Accommodation at Borgo degli Aranci is spread over 3 buildings: Cedro, Mandarino and Pompelmo.
Cedro: Acces is directly into the living room which has a comfortable sofa with a fireplace at one end and a separate dining-area with a dining table and chairs . A well-equipped kitchen leads directly off the dining-area. The first of the 2 single bedrooms is on the ground floor, next door to the bedroom is a bathroom with shower.
Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms, 1 single and one twin bedroom sharing two bathrooms.
Pompelmo: Stairs lead from a large living-room to the first floor where there are two bedrooms, one double and one twins, sharing one bathroom. The other bathroom is in the main floor close to the well-equipped kitchen.
Mandarino: set on one floor with living/dining room, there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, each with French windows on to terraces, with views of the sea and overlooking the pool area.
Outside the houses there's the laundry for washing and ironing.
There's a large covered patio beetwen the 3 houses, furnished with a dining-table and chairs, a built-in barbecue, overlooks the swimming pool and the orange groves.
Borgo degli Aranci is surrounded by a wonderful garden and a beautiful orange grove which ensure complete privacy. Although there are 3 villas, making excellent for large parties, we only rent for exclusive use, so you will never share pool or grounds with other guests.
Situated near the town of Fiumefreddo on the east coast of Sicily about half way between Catania and Taormina, Borgo degli Aranci is a good base from which to visit Taormina, Catania, Mount Etna.
