A fabulous, spacious 4 bedroomed villa, 2 with en suite bathrooms. Comfortably sleeps 8 or 10 people. Ideal for families or friends sharing. This is the opportunity to rent a luxury villa equipped and furnished to the highest standard, providing a suberb base for a relaxing holiday in the wonderful natural environment of Dalyan.

The villa is privately situated within a walled garden on the outskirts of Dalyan allowing holidaymakers to enjoy relaxing days by the pool on the spacious terrace surrounded by mountain views. You can enjoy complete seclusion here as the property has uninterrupted panoramic views. The villa has no neighbours yet is only a 15 minute walk into Dalyan and all the amenities it offers. This property is truly a special find and enjoys all amenities of home and more.

There is plenty of entertainment for children and adults alike and all just a stones throw from the centre of Dalyan which provides a host of enticing restaurants and bars. Should you feel the need to stay connected with the outside world the house also has 8mb wi-fi access.

The interior of Villa ARICI is equipped with everything you could possibly need for your holiday. It has all the facilities of a true home from home. The furnishings have been tastefully selected to provide the utmost comfort, providing a special and truly relaxing environment.

The accommodation comprises 2 double en suite bedrooms, one twin/triple bedroom and a further twin bedroom. The master bedroom includes a walk in wardrobe and a super king size bed. All other bedrooms have large wardrobes providing ample storage space and the second double bedroom includes a king size bed. There is a comfortable sofa bed in the lounge to allow the villa to accommodate 10 people if needed. There is a further WC cloakroom downstairs. All of the rooms are very spacious and airy and very well furnished.

The kitchen is fully fitted with handmade wooden units and black granite work surfaces. There is a central island for cooking which looks towards the dining area providing the perfect setting for social cooking and dining. The dining area overlooks the terrace and pool and comfortably seats 8 people.

The grounds of Villa ARICI total 6000 square metres and are surounded by pomegranate fields and spectacular mountain views. The terrace area surrounding the pool is vast and provides the ideal situation for days lounging in the sun. Evening drinks on the terrace watching the sun go down over the lake and mountains are breathtaking and it is very easy to while away time enjoying the view. The pool itself is very large, it is 63 square metres in size, measures 9m x 7m and is 1.5m deep allowing everyone to enjoy a swim.

If you can't drag yourself away, there is a large BBQ available for home dining. It is very easy to stay home and cook with this view and with the abundance of fresh local produce available from the villa's garden and Dalyan market, this villa truly provides the total chill out environment! Perfect for a relaxing break away from it all.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Dalyan is a lovely small riverside town located on the Turquoise coast in southern Turkey. It has an enticing mix of breathtaking views, fantastic weather,warm friendly hospitality, plentiful restaurants, charming bars and places to shop.

Dalyan is well known thanks to its proximity to the famous 7km Iztuzu Beach where the endangered Loggerhead Turtles (Caretta Caretta) lay their eggs, the beach and surrounding area is protected. The beach can be reached by minibus or by a relaxing boat ride on the Dalyan Canal and on through the read beds. As well as Loggerhead Turtles Dalyan is also home to the largest population of the Soft Shelled Nile Turtles (Trionyx triunguis). The wet land areas are home to many migrating birds and storks nest all over the area.

Steeped in history Dalyan is overlooked by ancient Lycian Rock Tombs which are the last resting places of the Kings of Kaunos, meanwhile the Dalyan Canal weaves its way past the village on its way from Köycegiz Lake to the beach.

Across the canal are the ruins of the city of Kaunos, with a Roman theatre, fortifications, basilica and many other sites to be seen. Dalyan itself has strict building regulations which allow us to keep the traditional feeling in the village, traditionally a fishing village the village has a warm welcome to visitors.

The Dalyan area

The Saturday Market is a joy to shop at, from the best quality fake designer wear to fresh vegetables and of course a plentiful collection of local spices and teas; as a working market you will shop alongside tourists and locals alike.

Also with Mud Baths, Turkish baths, Thermal Springs, an Historic Mosque and Scenic Walks Dalyan has it all for the perfect relaxing holiday. Nearby you can also find Tlos, an ancient Roman site with Lycian rock caves; Saklikent Gorge, a natural marvel to walk through; the beautiful bays of Asi and Ekincik bay, perfect for snorkelling.

Dalyan is also just over an hours drive from Marmaris or Fethiye with the glorious Öludeniz just outside Fethiye. You can take a boat tour from Göcek around the 12 islands, or just walk around the marina and marvel at the yachts.

Dalyan is situated 25 minutes from Dalaman International airport. There are flights from the UK into Dalaman all year around including many budget airlines. Turkish Airlines fly via Istanbul all year round from all major UK airports. Thomas Cook fly year round from Gatwick and Manchester. All other charter airlines fly from April through to November. Budget airlines are increasing their number of flights and currently include EasyJet, British Midland and Jet2.com.

If you wish to hire a car whilst you are here to explore the area all the major car hire companies are based at Dalaman airport, alternatively you can hire a car locally for part of your stay.

If prefer a more adventurous route you can drive to Turkey making an additional holiday of it. We would recommend two routes. The first driving from the UK through France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy to take a ferry from one of the ports on the Adriatic (Venice, Ancona or Rimini) either island hoping through Greece or direct to Cesme. The second is to drive across Europe to south east Austria where you and the car can pick up a train to drive you through south east Europe to Edirne in northern Turkey. From here you can drive down the Aegean coast taking in a number of ancient civilisations along the way.

“First Class” We rented Villa Arici with another family of friends. We found the villa on the internet and were taken by the photos and description. We were not disappointed! The villa is much better than the photos show and it is more like sharing someones home than renting a holiday property. From the first contact Diana was very helpful and arranged transfers for us all and offered helpful advice as well as being there to welcome us on arrival with some essentials, as we arrived in the middle of the night! During our stay Diana and Marco were available to help as needed and provide fresh produce from their garden. The villa is spacious, immaculately decorated and clean. All the rooms were nicely furnished with everything you need available. The kitchen area is fantastic, with every possible kitchen gadget and tool to hand, should you want a night off from Dalyan's excellent restaurants and there is a barbeque outside for al fresco meals. Outside, the pool is a good size, there were 8 of us and we never felt cramped and the surrounding patio area is more than large enough for sunbeds etc. Again the pool is spotlessly clean and Marco and Diana were round to clean and treat it every day. The location of the villa was perfect for us. It is secluded and far enough away from other villas to feel private and quiet, but only 10 - 15 minutes stroll from the centre of Dalyan. The nearest shop is only about 5 minutes away and if you feel like it, two mountain bikes are available. The view and scenery are also amazing, especially the large rocky hill behind the villa, which is home to a herd of goats, that seem to appear and disappear throughout the day. Dalyan is a smaller, low key destination, but has everything you need, in a compact area. There are plenty or restaurants offering a good selection of food and we found all to be good quality and value. There are a number with riverside tables where you can watch the sunsets The people in Dalyan were also very friendly and helpful, not at all pushy. There are also plenty of bars but the nightlife is low key, so would not suit people looking for clubs. So to sum up, Dalyan is a great place for a relaxing get away and Villa Arici is the perfect place to enjoy it from. Thanks to Diana and Marco for letting us borrow your home! What an amazing location with fantastic views, never seen such amazing sunsets! Accommodation very spacious and comfortable with all home comforts but with nicer weather than the UK! Highly recommended, perfect relaxing holiday but plenty to do too. Will definitely stay again. A trip to the fish market in Fethiye is a brilliant experience.

Just had the most magical two weeks in TurtleRock Villa. Cannot say enough expressions to describe how we have loved the house, Dalyan, the friendly people in the town and also Diana and Marco for their very warm hospitality. Their meze cooking must be “best ever”. Went on several trips different times and all were outstanding. Could go on and on about how this holiday has been very special. Thank you so much for everything. Will definitely return to TurtleRock again.

I have to say TurtleRock is one of the most amazing holidays you could go on. You should be very proud of this massive villa it is a wonderful place to stay at. The town is an outstanding place and everyone is really friendly. The kids loved the pool because the size and temperature were just great for them. The food in the restaurants was fabulous and the bars were fun and enjoyable. Thank you for all you have done, we will miss TurtleRock Villa.

Thank you so much for the use of this beautiful villa. Can’t tell you how delighted we were on arrival. The villa looked very grand and indeed it was. Dalyan is a beautiful village filled with warm and friendly people. We have had a lovely relaxing week. Caitlyn loved the pool as did Jess and Tom, but Jess’ favourite moments were watching the shooting stars, Tom can’t name his as he loved everything.
