Villa Leisha
Had an amazing time!

I stayed at Villa Leisha with my husband and daughter (8months) and some friends, one of the couples with another baby. Right from the beginning when I contacted Paul about the villa, he was more than helpful and the whole booking/payment process was simple. He provided equipment for the babies at an extra cost but this was minimal and took the hassle out of taking cots etc with us. The transfers were there when we arrived, with the baby seats we'd requested and they took us straight to the villa with no problems. The house itself is beautiful and was very clean when we arrived. there were a couple of minor problems whilst we were there (ran out of gas for the cooker) but these were recitified as soon as we informed the rep about them. The pool is amazing and is looked after by locals who came nearly everyday to clean it etc. The shallow end isn't very shallow so I'm not sure it would be suitable for more independant children of walking age, but our babies were happy enough with us in there with their inflatables on. Tge pool/garden gets sun all day but there are plenty of shady areas and enough sun umbrellas etc to get away, and the villa has air con throughout> town is about 15 mins stroll away, but the taxi services are brilliant as well. There is a mosque next door from which you can hear the prayers at various times of day, ut we found it quite therapeutic, and couldn't hear it at night at all. In fact the villa is very quiet at night which is nice. we saw the local police/security patrolling a couple of times which was nice to know as well. All in all, we loved staying at Villa Leisha. Its secluded (but safe) and quiet but near enough to the town. Its very clean and has everything we needed. Paul is wonderful and we wouldn't hesitate to go back!see more
Mulberry House
Such a beautiful, peaceful holiday base.

Mulberry house is a lovely, typically Turkish, tranquil house In gorgeous surroundings overlooking a mountain. The accommodation is simple yet stylish, extremely comfortable and there's a washing machine so you don't need to take loads of clothes! The garden is beautiful with flowers and shrubs which attract huge numbers of birds - including regular visits from the chickens next door. I thoroughly enjoyed reading in one of the many hammocks in the garden - pure relaxation and absolute bliss. There's a small farm across the road and we even saw a goat being born and taking its first steps. If you want a simple, relaxing holiday in beautifully peaceful surroundings away from the noise of the town then Mulberry house is for you. But with 4 mountain bikes provided, the fascinating town of Dalyan is only a 5-minute bike ride away so you have the best of both worlds - tranquility at the house and excitement in the town; and Dalyan is the stepping stone for so many fantastic trips especially on the lake or downriver towards the sea. We really enjoyed the local 'turtle' beach, the hot springs/mud baths on the lakeside, lots of local markets and the trips provided by Kaunos Tours (who look after the house and were extremely helpful with all of our enquiries). We had a wonderful holiday and strongly recommend Mulberry House as a great base for looking around the Dalyan area. You will not be disappointed.see more
