About the home

Modern apartment which is conveniently located for Corralejo Centre, Baku Water Park (See Photos) and the lovely flag beach. It is approximatel;y 15 mins walk into the main town but there are also family bars, restaurants, shops and a convenient taxi service at the bottom of the road.

As the photos show you will have a lovely modern and Bright lounge leading to balcony and modern dining area with leather chairs . There are views of area from the lounge. There is also a beautiful terrace to relax which has great views of gardens and surrounding area and is secure and safe for children.

Inside you have all the luxuries of home and modern style furniture along with LCD TV, satellite and DVD. There are two bedrooms, one double, one twin and each with fitted cupboards & a window, plus a brand new double pull out sofa bed and also a cot. The kitchen includes modern ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge freezer. There are also views of Corralejo and its surrounding areas from the terrace and the whole apartment is extremely private.

The apartment sleeps 6 + there is a Travel Cot for children, 1 double, a twin room and a double pull out bed in the lounge.

This apartment is behind lockable gates which means its extremely secure, private and has a seperate balcony and Terrace with views instead of just a small garden to front like some advertised.
The apartment is also next to the pool and you can see the childrens pool from the terrace which was a big plus for us when purchasing the property.

The terrace is very spacious and equipped with Table and Chairs and Sun loungers. From the terrace you get views of the sea, Corralejo,Cactus Gardens and the whole property is secure behind a lockable gate.

There is also a balcony which looks out over the outskirts of Corralejo and the mountains and is shaded in the afternoon so with the terrace you have the option of a sun and shade all day long.

At the entrance to the apartment you have a lockable gate.

For bookings of two weeks please note that clean linen will be provided at mid holiday.

Facilities

The Master Bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets, fitted wardrobes with safe,electric fan for comfort and a window.

The second bedroom is of a good size and includes twin beds, bedside cabinets, fitted wardrobes, window overlooking gardens and an additional fan.

The large lounge has patio doors leading to a balcony where you can view the surrounding area and relax. The whole property is very modern with units in the lounge, TV, DVD, CD Radio, new modern sofa bed (purchased March 2012) which opens into a large double bed and a separate modern leather lounge chair. There are also two reading lamps for your convenience and the walls are decorated with modern picture and ornaments.

The dining area consists of modern table and leather/chrome chairs and has a window which overlooks the gardens.

The kitchen has full utensils and amenitiues including fitted cupboards, marble worktop, sink unit, modern Halogen Hob and a window which overlooks the terrace so you can keep an eye on you children. There is also a breakfast table and 2 leather/chrome breakfast chairs.

If you are unsure of anything or wish to aks question then please do. We are only too happy to help and our aim is that we provide you with a holiday home that we would be happy with for our family.

The solarium/roof terrace includes lighting and has a 4 foot wall for added security. On the terrace you will be able to sun bathe all day using the loungers and relax at night. Tthe apartment and the whole property is extremely secure due to a lockable gate at its entrance.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura has some of the most glorious beaches in the world, miles of long sandy beaches all within easy reach of the apartment. The local beach (20 mins stroll) is ideal for children. The beaches bordering Corralejo are spectacular and have a range of facilities including wind surfing, kite surfing and diving. At El Cottilio you have a choice of the very safe lagoon beaches or coved beaches brilliant for body boarding, surfing and if you prefer Whale Watching you can hire one of the many boats trips from the harbour.

Whatever your idea of a great holiday Fuerteventura as it all.

The Corralejo area

Corralejo is the main holiday resort in Fuerteventura and a favourite haunt of watersport enthusiasts. It boasts great restaurants, Bars, Shopping and numerous beaches nestled dotted along its frontline. You can easily take a trip over to Lanzarote or just relax near the harbour and watch the boats come and go.

The sand dunes which you can see from the apartment border the town and the beautiful flag beach is a must for sun worshippers. Flag beach is around 3 miles of glorious white sand, it is extremely safe for children because where the sand a sea meet you get a lovely gradual drop off.

If shopping is your thing there are shops and boutiques galore and between Correlejo and the Apartment you have the fabulous Baku Water Park where the children (and adults) can play all day. There is also an aquarium with sharks, sea lion shows and small animals. Baku water park is only 10 minutes walk away. Please note Baku is closed from December to May.

There are plenty of places to hire a car but the Taxis are fantastic and cost next to nothing. In fact a taxi from Corralejo to the Apartment is only about 2 euros and there is a rank only 500 metres from the apartment.

The apartment itself is a 10 minutes stroll to shops, supermarket, bars, restaurants and banks. If you dont want to walk into Corralejo one night you can spend a lovely evening right next to the apartment and walk back in 10 mins. Corralejo is approximately a 20 minute stroll but if you prefer there is a taxi service at the bottom of the road and its only around €3 into town.

“Great apartment, handy car park and large supermarket nearby” The apartment is in a quiet part of the town which would be suitable for families or folks that like to get away for the busy streets at the end of the day. “Loved it” Visited apartment with our two 12 year old boys in August 2011. Apartment is located on a beautiful complex with fantastic swimming pools, one of which is virtually outside the door. Apartment is well furnished and spacious enough for all the family. It has all the facilities you would want to ensure you can relax and feel comfortable. The sun terrace was large enough for the boys to play on and a great place to relax early evening enjoying a cool drink after the sunny days. On arrival we were met Mags (who lives in apartment facing) who had arranged a welcome food hamper and ensured the apartment was spotless on arrival. She also arranged the midweek clean and change of bedding. The local area has a few bars, restaurants and a supermarket. Unfortunately we only decided to use these facilities in last couple of days but found they provided great food especially at Tiffanys and a really decent priced pint in the sports bar. We also found out too late that Tiffanys do a packed lunch for which they provide the cool box so that you can take it to the beach. Aqua Park within 10 minutes walk and Corellajo approximately 10 minutes, however if you don't fancy walking a taxi is only 3 euros. Corallejo has something for everyone with great bars, restaurants and shops. A choice of three beaches each offering something slightly different which our boys loved. If you have children they can swim, fish, jump off the local pier and go canoeing all in one afternoon. We are already looking forward to visiting again!! We loved our stay. The pool was gorgeous and its location was ideal being right on the edge of town and within easy walking distance of all the attractions. The terrace with its stunning view was a massive plus and we spent many days sunbathing on it. Thank you.

We had a great time at Fuerteventura. We have 3 children & they enjoyed the pool and I could keep a look out of them from the balcony which was very handy. The main tourist attractions like the beach, waterpark & town are easy to get to. We loved Corralejo & the neighbours who helped us out with getting used to the area. The apartment was well organised and clean. The children enjoyed the toys to keep them entertained. We will definateky be returning to the apartment.
