We stayed in 'Casanova' El Sultan in Oct/Nov and had a brilliant time. The house is fabulous and immaculate in a great location, we were glad we had chosen to stay there. We had all the comfort we needed and especially enjoyed having the extra space. Having 3 bathrooms was a great bonus especially after daily dips in the pool and going to the beach. It was a great time of year to be there as it was quiet which is just what we needed and the weather was perfect not too hot. We have 2 boys who loved having the pool in front of the house and most days they had it to themselves. EL Sultan is an ideal complex for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The Flag beach which is only 3 minutes away by taxi is stunning and the sea was always lovely and warm. The El Camparino shopping centre is only 5 minutes walk away and we often went there at night to listen to live Spanish music. It is 10-15 minutes walk into town which is well worth it especially down by the harbor. There are some lovely restaurants in Carralejo, one we can highly recommend is 'The Rio Bernabé' on a street behind the harbor. We highly recommend this house and El Sultan to friends and family. Hopefully we will be back there next year! |

My husband and I stayed at this property for one month, but wish we could have stayed for much longer! We didn't use two of the bedrooms but all three of them were large and nicely furnished, and a definite plus was that two were en-suite. It sits within a beautiful gated private complex, complete with 4 pools, 2 of them for children, the surrounding gardens being well maintained. It is far enough out of town to be peaceful, but a twenty minute stroll away and you are on Corralejo Main Street, where there are so many good restaurants, catering for all tastes. Our favourite is Fifth Avenue, which is just off the main street, where they do a fantastic steak, and scrummy cheesecakes! But when we decided to stay in and cook a meal it was just like home from home, with a plentiful supply of pots, pans, everything you could wish for. A large fridge-freezer and full oven just made everything so easy and convenient. And it was just perfect to be able to sit and eat outside every day! There are so many gorgeous beaches on Fuerteventura, and one of the best is Flag Beach and the sand dunes which are pretty much on the doorstep! Overall, a fantastic property, and we can't wait to return next year! |
