About the home

Riza Stone Cottage is a maisonette style freestanding villa ideal for lazy nature lovers, families and escapees.

It consists of:
Ground floor with an open plan sitting area combined with fully equipped kitchen/dining and separated WC with basin. Internal wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, which consists of one double bedroom and a small sitting corner with original Corfiot handmade furniture and a second double bedroom and a sofa - which can be converted to two singles or one double bed - a large bathroom with view and a small store room.
Both bedrooms have large windows with an amazing view to the Ropa Valley.

The Villa is constructed in both stones and bricks, has a patio shaded by olive trees and is nestled on a hillock full of oak trees, holm-oaks, lentisks, wild flowers and herbs.

Air-conditioning in both bedrooms, separate WC on the ground floor , central heating for the whole house, fireplace, TV sat and CD player in the sitting area, washing machine, dishwasher, hair dryer, iron, hammock, stoned BBQ corner, outdoor stoned oven, outdoor sitting/dining area under the shadow of the trees, parking area and of course, gardens with flowers and seasonal naturally grown vegetables and fruits for the guests to consume and, why not, cultivate if they wish.
Riza stone cottage is a really country retreat place!

The Corfu / Vatos area

15 km west of Corfu Town you will find Vatos, a small traditional village nestled into the hillside of Ai Giorgis, with a magnificent view to the Ropa valley. The inhabitants, who are simple and warm people occupied mostly with the cultivation of the land and tourism.

Vatos is a place where the directness and gentleness of the traditional old Corfiot can be found.
Myrtiotissa the nudist sandy beach is about 3 km away, Glyfada sandy beach 5 km and Ermones pebble/shingle beach 800m.

“Wonderful house in paradise” This house is really nice! It is furnitured with love for details. You have everything you need in the cottage in paradise. The garden is beautiful, its so quiet out there, it smells like pure nature and the weather is always fantastic. We enjoyed our trip very much and ll of course often come back again! The hosts were very very friendly, they drove us to the house and back to the airport, brought us fruits, cared for us..

“Best location, homely gorgeous villa and relaxing atmosphere” We spent a wonderful holiday at Riza Stone Cottage. The house is located in the best spot of the island, close to beautiful beaches and scenic typical villages only a few minutes drive. Riza is equipped with all the necessary details to enjoy your stay, with a delightful outdoors to have breakfast or dinner or sunbathing relaxed. It's bright, clean and nicely decorated in traditional Corfu style. We already miss Riza, we'd go back for sure!!
