About the home

Villa Jessica is a beautifully presented family villa located in a truly stunning location on a private and gated road 1Km north of the Spanish ‘White Village’ of Sayalonga on the Costa del Sol. The house is superior as a holiday villa - it is maintained to an exceptionally high standard and is furnished aesthetically and extremely comfortably.

In a perfect location, Sayalonga is ideally situated, breathtaking views to the sea and mountaines but not too far inland, in fact only a 20 minute drive with no tracks to contend with - tarmac all the way!

The villa offers dramatic views down onto the village and over the myriad of other white villages dotted across the mountains opposite. There is a good view of the sea and it is even possible to see the rock of Gibraltar and as far as North Africa on a clear day.

Ideal for couples or families looking to relax and get away from it all whilst only a short drive away from activities such as the Waterpark at Torre del Mar and the Caves at Nerja.

Excellent area for walking with an abundance of natural park areas, close to beaches and only 25 minutes to the centre of Nerja, a pretty coastal town with several restaurants and good shopping.

There are a good assortment of excellent restaurants locally and in the surrouding villages and the house has DVDs, an XBox and an assortment of games to ensure children are kept amused.

An outside casita with sink, 2nd fridge, washing machine and BBQ means you can truly live the mediterranean outdoor life with cold drinks and snacks at hand poolside!

Important note: Bath towels and one set of bed linen provided; Pool Towels available to rent - 5 euros per towel. Mid stay bed linen available at a cost of 5 euros per bed. Maid service available 10 euros per hour (minimum charge 30 euros)

The house is on 2 levels, is tiled throughout and furnished to a high standard. There is also a 7m x 3m swimming pool.

The living room is furnished to a high standard with chocolate brown leather suite, oak dining table and matching brown leather chairs to seat up to 8 people. TV Unit (BBC/ITV etc, DVD, Video recorder & XBox installed) and feature log burning fire place.

A feature archway from the dining area leads into the spacious kitchen. Fully fitted to a high standard with marble worktops and well equipped with modern appliances (fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, etc) and a good assortment of glassware.

Study area. Al fresco eating with covered pergola and terrace and for amusing young children whilst the adults relax and enjoy the sun - XBox installed with a whole variety of games for all ages!

Downstairs WC includes wash hand basin, laundry facility with Bosch washing machine, ironing board and iron.

Bed 1 - King size bed, large fitted wardrobes, en-suite shower room, patio doors to roof terrace with views to mountains. Bed 2 - Double bed patio doors to roof terrace and sea views. Bed 3 - Twin beds, fitted wardrobes, view to pool and mountains.

Main bathroom well fitted fully tiled large bathroom comprising WC, hand basin, bidet, bath and shower.

En-suite bathroom wel fitted fully tiled large shower room complrising WC, hand basin, bidet and large fully enclosed shower cubicle. Downstairs WC.

Additional outside fully functional kitchen with sink, fridge, washing machine, BBQ, power and light. 2nd Terrace raised terrace with table and seating for 12!

Excellent outside space with fabulous and picturesque views, with 7x3m pool. Outdoor furniture and an abudance of sunbeds available.

Covered terrace for al fresco dining and surrounded by well maintained gardens with a large assortment of mediterranean planting.

Fruit trees surround the property - pick the odd ripe lemon or lime to slip into a nice long drink or add a mango or kiwi to the evening salad!

Visit the Sayalonga website at http://www.sayalonga.es for all the local information you could possibly wish for.

For trips further afield, visit Gibraltar, Seville, Rhonda or Granada for historic tourist day trips. In the winter months, visit the ski slopes in the Sierra Nevada, about 1.5 hours by car.

In the summer, it's normally too hot to want to do anything energetic apart from the water parks and playing in the pool or on the beaches.

The Competa / Sayalonga area

The Spanish love to party and festivals and carnivals are a year round event, beginning in January with the festival of the kings, Easter sees the big carnival in Malaga, May is the village Nispero festival, July and August sees each village stage its own carnival that is normally a 3 day event!

Lake Vinuela is around 30 minutes away and many water activites take place here.

Travel by plane to Malaga a short 40 minute drive to the villa - all airlines offer good deals but don't overlook British Airways who regularly offer the cheapest seats from Heathrow or Gatwick.

The budget airline Ryanair offers excellent value flights from Stansted to Granada from as little as £25 per person including taxes.

“Stunning get away from it all location” The booking process was very easy, all our questions answered promptly. We LOVED the location and the property too. It was just what we needed. The villa was located on a hillside with spectacular mountain views, also views to the sea. It was very quiet and not overlooked. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed to have a great holiday. The WiFi worked very well as did the television. The gardens and patio areas were clean and well stocked with beautiful Mediterranean plants. The pool was clean and well maintained. Really stunning when lit up at night. We loved the fact that it was private and not overlooked - we just wanted to get away from it all.

“fabulous holidays in this smashing villa” We just returned from two wonderful weeks in villa Jessica. We could not have been happier, everything we could think of was provided, both in- and outside of the villa. We loved the wonderful, clean, warm pool, the gorgeous views, the lovely plants in the garden and so much more. The kids enjoyed the x-box and the DVD-player, but also loved exploring the area, picking figs, limes and avocadoes. Dealing with Lesley, the owner, was a pleasure, she always replied promptly to all our questions. This is a lovely part of Spain and if we return here, we would definitely want to stay in villa Jessica again.

“Excellent peaceful location away from the crowds” Very easy to book via the owner and neighbours on hand who look after the property should you need any assistance. My friends and I really loved the location of this villa. It is just up the hill from a typical Spanish local village for shopping and restaurants. If you like a rural location away from "the maddening crowds" this place is for you. Lovely views and you can just see "the sea" from the patio/bedrooms. There is an outdoor kitchen where you can BBQ till your hearts content. The owners supply a rental car with this Villa, which is kept at the airport and is there for you on arrival - you then just drive back to the airport and check the car back in - all instructions for this are supplied on booking. Easy access to the coast from this mountain locaction - if you can prize yourself away!!!

“What a fantastic view..” We wanted a relaxing holiday to get away from the pressures of work and the villa gave us evey thing that we wanted... an immaculate holiday home Lesley has thought of every thing and was so helpful.. a beautiful villa and beautiful location ... and would like to go again.
