About the home
Villa Vista is a brand new, two bedroomed, two bathroomed detatched house. It has beautiful views from every aspect, being mountain and sea views. It has two double bedrooms upstairs with an enormous balcony - both bedrooms walk out to the balcony. Downstairs there is a large sitting terrace with a covered area for al fresco dining. It is furnished simply with quality Cretian wooden furniture and affords all the usual holiday necessities. This is a brand new villa with air conditioning and a shared pool.
This villa is 100 yards from an excellent taverna, which is quiet but does have musical nights during the season- the food is excellent! A walk into Kokkino Chorio will show you a truly authentic Cretian village. There is a small supermarket that supplies everything within walking distance. The pool is to the rear of the property with sunbathing area. The villa has solar water heating and air-conditioning. Almerida is a five minute drive away which is a Blue Flag beach.
We have an identical villa available next door for two families wishing to holiday together - the two villas share a large pool with a large sunbathing area.

The shared pool is only shared between the 2 villas; it is not a communal pool.
The Crete region
The White Mountains dominate this area of sandy beaches and traditional villages. The area is becoming more developed and tourist facilities more sophisticated whilst retaining it's Greek atmosphere.
The large bay that makes up the seaside resorts of Almirida, Kalives and Kalami has many separate sandy beaches, usually with full facilities. All of these beaches are safe for children because they shelve very gently into the sea.
There are plenty of good quality, reasonably priced tavernas at or near the beaches. Kalives is a working village as well as being a tourist destination so you will find many local shops as well as a fairly big Inka supermarket. Banking, post office and petrol station facilities are available in Kalives and in Vamos.
The Chania / Almyrida area
The cosmopolitan town of Chania has been voted the most beautiful on Crete and rightly so, with the White Mountains as a backdrop, its Venetian harbour, museums, fascinating indoor market and an old quarter of narrow streets packed with interesting shops, Chania offers something for most visitors.
It is a vibrant lively town steeped in Byzantine, Venetian and Turkish history. The harbour area is a great place to sit and watch the world go by or you may like to try the park on Tzanakaki Street where there is a popular cafe tucked away in the trees.
Chania is easily accessible from all of our properties either by bus, taxi or car.

Our prices include:
*A welcome pack with essential items on arrival
*cleaning of the villa on departure
A non-refundable deposit of 10% (minimum £50.00 per week) is required to secure your reservation. A provisional booking will be held for 24 hours so that you can arrange your flights and car hire if necessary.
Balance payments are expected 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Payment is accepted by cash or by cheque. Details will be sent in your confirmation letter.
Should you wish to make any amendments to your booking we will endeavour to fulfil your requirements but an admin charge will be made for this. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you.
