Cottage | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 3
You will find Les Jasmins amid the vineyards of a small hamlet where our french neighbours still produce wine - we hope you will enjoy the complimentary bottles of Domaine de Fournery. The cottage has been, in the past, a temporary home for grape pickers during the vendange and a wine store. It has now been renovated to a high standard and offers an ideal getaway for couples or small groups of up to three.

There is a small garden to the front of the house with terrace, table and chairs and an off road parking area. The terrace at the back of the property has spectacular views over the vines - the perfect place to enjoy rural tranquility and a glass of local wine.
Welcome items, such as wine, coffee, milk etc. are offered on arrival.
The cottage is not suitable for children due to the small unguarded mezzanine area in the double bedroom and the general layout of the house.
We live next door and are usually on hand to help out with local information.
The Languedoc-Roussillon region
The region offers a variety of beautiful scenery for walking, driving or cycling. The Pyrenees and Mediterranean are within easy reach and a visit to Spain and the Costa Brava or a shopping trip to Andorra are alternative ideas for a day out.
10 minutes away from Fournery is the old market town of Limoux, the home of Blanquette, the local sparkling wine. The town has retained many of its traditions including its carnaval which takes place every week-end between January and March and many other events which are celebrated throughout the year.
The town of Carcassonne, with its fascinating history and impressive towers and walls, is only half an hour away.
You might also decide to take a boat trip down the Canal du Midi or just go for a stroll along its shady pathways.
