Further details indoors

The open plan ground floor has a living and dining area together with a well equipped kitchen. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one double and one single, a bathroom with w.c., washbasin and bath with integral shower. There is also the 'loo with a view' with a w.c. and washbasin.

Further details outdoors

There is a small garden to the front of the house with terrace, table and chairs and an off road parking area. The terrace at the back of the property has spectacular views over the vines - the perfect place to enjoy rural tranquility and a glass of local wine.

Further details

Welcome items, such as wine, coffee, milk etc. are offered on arrival.

The cottage is not suitable for children due to the small unguarded mezzanine area in the double bedroom and the general layout of the house.

We live next door and are usually on hand to help out with local information.

The Languedoc-Roussillon region

The region offers a variety of beautiful scenery for walking, driving or cycling. The Pyrenees and Mediterranean are within easy reach and a visit to Spain and the Costa Brava or a shopping trip to Andorra are alternative ideas for a day out.

10 minutes away from Fournery is the old market town of Limoux, the home of Blanquette, the local sparkling wine. The town has retained many of its traditions including its carnaval which takes place every week-end between January and March and many other events which are celebrated throughout the year.

The town of Carcassonne, with its fascinating history and impressive towers and walls, is only half an hour away.

You might also decide to take a boat trip down the Canal du Midi or just go for a stroll along its shady pathways.

"Simply wonderful!"

Beautifully renovated and well kitted out, we spent a wonderful week relaxing in this delightful cottage in the midst of stunning Languedoc countryside and were made to feel very welcome by the owners. Lots to do and see nearby, it was such a joy to return home each time to a glass of wine on the tranquil terrace overlooking the vines. A perfect end to any day!

"A wonderful place"

We found Les Jasmins to be a delightful gite set in a beautiful area of rolling vineyards with stunning views of distant mountains and with rural tranquility. The accommodation was very comfortable and compact with all the facilities& equipment required for 4 people.Bedrooms were well equipped with lovely views and excellent toilet and bathroom facilities. The location is a peaceful rural setting and although it has adjoining properties is private. Generous hospitality was provided including welcome items for guests together with extensive information on places in the region
