About the home

The villa is light and airy and has stunning sea and mountain views from four terraces. It has been furnished and equipped to a high standard. There is a good size kitchen with granite work surfaces, a large separate lounge with dining table, three attractive bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and two bathrooms.

There is a lovely shared pool with separate children's pool and sunbathing terraces. There is also an indoor spa with jacuzzi and sauna for the use of guests. The development is gated with remote controlled access to ensure complete privacy for guests.

It is close to town and the beach[10 mins walk]. The nearest restaurant is about 5 minutes walk as is the nearest bar. There is everything here you need for a relaxing and fun filled holiday. Please note that planes do fly over Caleta de Fuste on their way to the airport

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura is famous for its beaches. We recommend hiring a car and travelling to beautiful beaches such as El Cotillo, the dunes near Corralejo or Sotovento beach. There you will find long stretches of clean golden sand that are some of the best to be found in Europe.

There are also quiet inland towns and villages to explore and some stunning mountain scenery.

The Caleta de Fuste / Montana Blanca area

Caleta de Fuste - also known as Castillo - is one of the major tourist towns on the island.

It is a clean, attractive resort with two main beaches and a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. There is also a pretty harbour.
The resort now boasts two golf courses with club house restaurants, hotels, and many more facilities. There's also a brand new shopping complex with some fine shops and restaurants, a multi-screen cinema (most films are in spanish) plus a 10 pin bowling alley. There are some small beaches near the shopping centre. A luxury spa is also a feature of the resort.

The beaches are very sheltered and safe for children

You are never short of things to do in Caleta de Fuste with all the usual watersports available as well as boat trips, a wind surfing school, diving and even a submarine offering undersea excursions.

The nightlife is pretty varied too with plenty of bars offering all kinds of entertainment from live music to karaoke and a wide variety of restaurants including Chinese, Italian and authentic Spanish.

Because of Caleta's central location it's easy to explore the rest of the island if you hire a car.

Flights from all the main airports in the UK, with the flights from Gatwick and Heathrow taking 31/2-4 hours. Good deals can be found from Easyjet or Monarch, Thomas Cook and Thomson Holidays or by using a flight search engine likw www.opodo.com or www.skyscanner.net. For cheap deals also try Iberia.com and change in Madrid.

There are always plenty of taxi's at the airport, and the cost to the villa is usually 13 Euros. All taxis hve a meter so costs are always clear. From the airport, head south towards Caleta De Fuste. At the junction, turn right, up the hill and keep to the right at the small roundabout. Carrying on up the hill you will pass a row of fir trees on the right hands side. 15 Marina Golf at the end of the row of trees and is clearly vsible as you go up the hill. There is a small with gate for access, and a parkiing slot either off road, or next to the villa.

“Excellent Villa!” 2nd year in a row here. Once again everything was perfect. Villa is approx 10 mins by car/taxi from airport. You can literally be in the pool within an hour of landing. Taxi from airport cheap and there is a local bus service available too. Check in very easy. Agents live in next property. Checked in very quickly but given tour round to show you how to work everything etc. There is also a guide left with instructions for tv, cooker as well as local info - very helpful Villa is well equipped, kitchen has everything you need and rooms are all clean and tidy, Great showers with plenty hotwater, Washing maching, iron, microwave, dvd player, tv and even plenty books and dvds for your use. Lovely terraces for sitting out sunbathing and enjoying lunch in peace and quiet. Great pool facilities and turkish bath sauna, jacuzzi and gym for your use throughout your stay. Toilets and showeres also available at the pool/spa area. Property is about 10 minutes stroll down hill to the town centre and beach areas. Although there is bars and shops half way down. The market also comes here on Saturdays. The taxi fare from town is approx 2.15 euros daytime and 2.8 euros at night. 6 seater taxis readily available for same price. Plenty of bars and restaurants for all tastes in town. We thought it was very reasonable for beers and food. If you want to travel further afield there is a great bus service on the island to allow you to visit Corralejo and Puerto del Rosario. Bus stop at bottom of the hill (approx 5 mins walk) and fares very cheap. This makes water park and Safari Park great accesible days out. We travelled with 4 teenage boys, who were kept entertained on beaches etc and as the town is reasonablly quiet they were able to get some freedom on beaches/ playing pool at night etc Would recommend both the island and in particular this property to anyone. And we will certainly be back for our third visit next year

“Fabulous holiday in great villa!” We had a fantastic week in this gorgeous villa over the Easter break. Everything from the initial booking with Steve and Linda to handing back the keys to the lovely Trish and Jim was easy and stress free. The vila itself is very clean and extremly well presented and furnished. Loads of space for the whole family - which makes a change after being couped up in a hotel room on previous holidays! The main balcony is a real sun trap and great for relaxing on or enjoying breakfast or lunch The villa that the complex in on is very secure and private and boasts its own swimming pool. Also, a gym and spa which we used on several occasions. The villa is in an ideal location - 10 minutes drive from the airport. It is also well placed for the town of Caleta de Fuste. We walked into Caleta every evening for a meal and drinks (lots of choice of restaurants) it took about 10 minutes to walk down hill. We chose to catch a taxi back each evening as they are so cheap - only 2-3 euros. All in all, a wonderful villa in a great location - we hope to return soon!

“Spacious & spotless villa with everything one could possibly need” The booking with owners was worry free - we were greeted by Trish & Jim from neighbouring villa who gave us all the local info & were very helpful. The villa was just what we wanted with great views from the various balconies. We didn't use the local restaurants or beaches as we hired a car to explore the island - found some wonderful Canarian fish restaurants and some lovely beaches & villages.

“Great place for friends and family!” Extremely well presented property with all the ameneties for a great holiday. - Secure peaceful complex with clean well maintained pool area. - Upstairs sun terrace is a fantastic place for dining and relaxing! Greeted by property managers upon arrival who are very helpful and informative. 5 minutes walk downhill into town and beach area and only 2/3 Euros in taxi back up at night after a meal and a few drinks! Will definitely stay again!

“EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY” Villa was lovely, clean and well equiped. pool area not great but we went to beach. 15 min walk. taxi back €3 perfect ! linda and steve lovely to deal with .would highly recommend .

“A lovely, stylish villa - at a great rate. Definitely coming again...” We had a great week in this villa which we used as our base to explore Fuerteventura in our hire car. We were really happy with the villa, which was modern, stylish and extremely clean. The villa is much better equipped than others we have rented, and the location suited us perfectly - with plenty to do nearby. We haven't hesitated in recommending the villa to our friends, and we hope to return in the not too distant future.

“Excellent value for money” We have stayed at this villa twice in the last three years. The house is very modern and clean and you feel at home really quickly. There is a shared pool and sauna on site. Restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed both our stays in the villa and hope to visit again in the future.

“Excellent value for money” Even before we got to the resort communication with owners Steve and Linda had been 1st class. We have never booked a villa before having always gone for the 'package' option and I'm wondering now why we didnt do this sooner. It was a fantastic holiday, the villa had everything you could need and 'so much space'. It has all been finished to a very high standard. It is well place with a 10 minute steady walk into the centre of the resort and a 3 euro cab ride back if you didn't fancy going back up the hill. Because a lot of the villas are owner occupied the complex is very well kept. It was also very peaceful and quiet, often we were the only ones by the pool, so no complaints there, no need to lay towels on sunbeds to reserve them ! Jim and Trish in the villa next door were very helpful, especially the suggestion that we go to eat at Fado Rock, really nice food, large portions and very reasonably priced. All of us enjoyed our stay and thought the villa was excellent value for money. We are already planning our return trip for a whole month next year!
