Borgo Castelrotto is located in the center of the Castelnuovo Tancredi Wine Estate, situated in the renowned area of the Val d'Orcia, a UNESCO HERITAGE SITE.

Borgo Castelrotto can host up to 18 people in 9 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.

The North wing has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the first floor with the main living room, dining room and modern kitchen on the ground floor.

A large covered patio, is set up for dining enjoyment along with a wood barbecue area looking out to an incomparable glimpse of Montalcino.

The southern wing has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a large living room with wood fireplace and a large Tuscan style extra kitchen. The Borgo is the perfect spot for your Yoga retreat, completely immersed in this 900 hectare organic estate.

A Cottage completes the Borgo, with the upper floor designed as a loft with a wonderful master bedroom and bathroom. On the ground floor a beautiful living room with a stone and brick fireplace makes the atmosphere warm and cozy. Also on the ground floor a double bedroom with bathroom enjoys a special view of the olive grove and pool, just situated below the cottage.

In the center of the borgo's garden guests can enjoy a beautiful swimming pool with a unique view of the valley overlooking the olive grove, or enjoy a private wine tasting at our Cantina.

An in-villa dining service or a self-made barbecue night can be the perfect end of the day while enjoying an aperitivo with a lovely glass of Fiamma Rosé. Table Tennis and bocce set are available to add to your evening enjoyment.

Borgo Castelrotto is one of the country villas that is part of the Castelnuovo Tancredi Wine Estate, which stretches for over 900 hectares between Montalcino and Siena. The entire farm upholds organic agricultural methods, from the 8 hectares of planted vineyards, cereal and grain production to the D.O.P extravirgin olive oil. The primary objective at Castelnuovo Tancredi is to keep pace with the times, while protecting the flavor and tradition of the past in all its aspects

We would like to remind our guests that Castelnuovo Tancredi is an organic farm since 25 year, long before this became a trend first and now a mission and an global emergency.

So we suggest and teach our guest how to be ecofriendly to this untouched enviroment, by using recycling bins, avoid waste of water and electricity and some more easy tips to reduce plastic use.

This will make a big difference on your holiday, we promise.

On our side we can proudly say that pesticides are not used at all, either for our crops or for our vineyards.

    Violante and her entire staff were wonderful hosts for our Tuscan retreat! The pool and grounds were wonderfully relaxing. Be sure to do a wine tasting with her as well.
