Villa Morrin is just 200 metres from Nissi Beach, probably the most famous on Cyprus with it's enticing white sand, clear turquoise water and abundant water sports; also towards Ayia Thekla, within a 10 minute walk of our villa are the quieter but equally beautiful and stunning white sandy beaches of Landa and Makronisos. Our villa is 98 m2 in area on a large 266 m2 plot and is in the quieter part of Ayia Napa and yet only a few minutes stroll from the excellent local shops,supermarket, bars and restaurants; the main square of Ayia Napa with it's cosmopolitan clubs and bars is just a 5 minute taxi ride away.
The private pool, which catches the sun all day from late morning, has steps leading down into the shallow end; ideal for children. Wine and dine al fresco on the rear patio beside the pool, perfect for a barbecue on a warm summer evening, watching the sunset; with one double, one twin bedroom and a double sofa bed the villa is ideal for families; there are plenty of activities in the surrounding area for you to see and do during your holiday.
Our villa is also the ideal location if your coming to a wedding, the Aneas and Adams Beach hotels can be seen from the villa and the Nissi Beach hotel is a 5 minute walk away; so you can chill out in the relaxed atmosphere of a private villa.

The Famagusta District

The Famagusta district is on the East coast of Cyprus and it was once the main port of Cyprus and a popular holiday destination. After the Turkish invasion in 1974 Protaras and Ayia Napa were re-developed into the modern family resorts of today. Paralimni is the largest town in the area and is the administration centre of the Famagusta region. Here in Paralimni you can find the traditional Cypriot lifestyle with the tall Venetian style houses, old churches and backgammon games in the coffee shops contrasted with the modern shops around the old square. The weather is typically mediterranean with long hot summers and mild winters and the peak holiday season stretches from April to November.

Ayia Napa / Nissi Beach area

Ayia Napa has suffered from a bad press in the past but now the resort has cleaned up it's act and developed into a great family resort with plenty of activities and entertainment. Fantastic beaches and a good selection of excellent, family orientated restaurants and bars keep visitors returning year after year. Nissi Beach is probably the most famous beach on Cyprus with it's golden sands and clear water. There are plenty of water sports and restaurants on the beach, so you can stay all day and have activities and refreshment at hand. A few kilometres to the west is the Water World Water Park, which is the largest themed water park in Europe and is a great day out for all the family.

How to get there

Larnaca is the nearest airport to Ayia Napa; Monarch Airlines have recently started budget flights to Larnaca from Luton Airport; Thomson and Thomas Cook also have charter flights throughout the summer. The main departure and arrival days to and from the UK are Wednesdays and Sundays. A taxi ride from Larnaca Airport to Ayia Napa 46 klms away will cost approximately 50 euros for a party of 4 people and 65 euros for a party of 5 to 6 people; the journey takes about 40 minutes. Our villa is situated in Nissi Golden Sands, an exclusive development of detached villas and apartments just off Nissi Avenue, the main road through the resort.

To drive to the villa you take the road away from Larnaca Airport turn left at the traffic island initially following the signs for Lefkosia (Nicosia) A3.

Then follow the signs for Protaras and Ayia Napa on the B3 motorway until you get to the Ayia Napa turn-off which is opposite the Olympic Lagoon Resort.

The road crosses over the motorway and bears left past an Eko petrol station on the left-hand side, the Nissi Golden Sands development is about 500 metres further on the left; our villa is number 15.

The villa is furnished to a very high standard in contemporary style with wooden venetian blinds on all the main windows.

We have provided a flat screen LCD TV with satellite and various english speaking channels (news, music and films) and a Playstation 2 with a selection of games and DVDs for you to use, there is also a CD player and you are welcome to bring your own PS2 games, DVDs and CDs.

The kitchen has a ceramic hob, granite work tops and plenty of kitchen utensils, crockery and glassware.

The garden has been designed with a mediterranean theme and has plantings of local palms and different varieties of Bougainvillea. The rear patio and pool deck area have been fenced off for extra privacy and there is a pergola at the side of the house where you can relax in the shade having a glass or two of the excellent local wine. We have provided a large table and parasol with 6 chairs for alfresco dining and 6 sunbeds around the pool for sun worshippers; there is also a traditional cypriot charcoal barbecue. Recently we have had the entire pool deck and the front and rear tiled patio areas coated in a specially formulated anti-slip compound; this coating helps to diminish the risks of slips and falls and is very effective on both wet and dry floors.

The pool is maintained by DAVE twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays.

The garden is maintained by MARTIN twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Please bring your own towels for use at the beach or by the pool.

Taxis transfers to and from the airport can be booked for you, please ask for details.

Conditions

Strictly no smoking in the villa, smoking is permitted outside.

Melamine tableware has been provided for use on the patio and around the pool, please don't use glassware and crockery outside.

Please use the outside shower before and after using the pool.

Although the pool and tiled patio areas have been coated in a special non-slip compound can we please emphasize that there is to be no running around the pool and that parents are responsible for their children's' safety and they must be supervised at all times in and around the pool.

We, our daughter & granddaughter aged 8, had a lovely time at your villa which, apart from being in an ideal position (within walking distance of Agia napa) found it to be well furnished, clean and very comfortable, it had all the requirements we were looking for which made our stay even better. I just wanted to say thank you so much for your amazing villa, we had such a good time. The villa was so well equipped, fantastic DVD player as well when it got far too hot in the midday.
Your should advertise on your website that it is also close to Nissi Beach Hotel, our friends wedding was there and we were unsure how close you were. In the end perfect but you should comment on how close it is.
Good supply of towels and fantastic pool. Believe you me if I lived in the UK we would return!! Back to Australia in 2 weeks.
