Enquire nowThe Tuscany / Siena Province region
From our area, you have immediate access to the major attractions in Tuscany: Florence, one of the pearls of our region; Siena, the best example of Mediaeval town in Italy, famous throughout the world for its ‘Palio’; Arezzo, where each month on the first weekend an important antiquarian market takes place; Montepulciano and Montalcino which will wait for you along the ‘wine road’, for delightful thematic tours; Cortona, where the world famous Tuscan Sun Festival takes place every August; the Etruscan Volterra and Pienza, this one with its famous cheese.
Finally, Perugia, Trasimeno Lake, Assisi and Orvieto are only some of the most famous amenities you will find not very far away in Umbria.
At one hour and fifteen minutes’ drive, it is possible to spend a nice day at the Tyrrhenian sea with its romantic and fantastic beaches, or discover the landscape of the "Maremma" toscana and eat in typical genuine restaurants. As an alternative to the sea, the Trasimeno Lake is at half an hour’s drive and it will conquer you with its romantic atmosphere.
The Asciano / Rapolano Terme area
The area around the Crete Senesi is in a strategic position that allows the tourist to have the best of Tuscan beauties at hand. Within few kilometres you could relax at the Spa in Rapolano Terme, go horse-riding, drive through the famous stunning landscape of Crete, or taste and buy the best of our typical local products in our traditional markets or directly from the producer: wine, oil, truffles, honey, marmalade and jam, cheese and dairy products.
The area is also a very good base, the ideal starting point for pleasant excursions, for those who enjoy visiting small villages, mostly unknown to the mass of tourists. If you love trekking, or going on bike or horse tours you will find here plenty of routes or tracks to keep you in touch with nature.
At the beginning of May, the local “Festa di Ciambragina “in Serre di Rapolano will take you back to the medieval folklore with its costumes, traditions, games, markets, food, wine and performances dating back to the 14th century.
