About the home

Air conditioned luxury apartment with free wifi picturesque garden which sleeps up to four people is nestled within a championship golf course. There are stunning views across the fairways to the sea and to Spain's highest peak, the famous volcano, Mount Teide.

The Apartment comprises of a stylish bedroom, ultra modern shower room, an American style kitchen with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and all the comforts of home. The spacious lounge with large sofa, leather comfy chairs, wide-screen satellite TV showing BBC1 and 2, channels 3, 4 and five, DVD, ipod doc and CD/radio player leads through patio doors to a spacious covered terrace with its own drinks fridge, then onto the secluded garden which has table and chairs, large parasol, barbecue and sun loungers. The view looks across lush gardens with fountains and waterfalls and down to the large heated tropical swimming pool.

Amarilla is just one of five challenging courses in the few miles between the airport and Las Americas. Visit our golf page to view all of them and why not book your round before you even get there.

The lounge is spacious and airy and both the lounge and bedroom benefit from ceiling fans, we also provide two mobile fans. The lounge has recently been refurnished to a high standard. We provide a popular selection of DVDs for clients use and a safe. Cots and highchairs are available by request.

Located on the Amarilla Golf & Country Club resort, 'Fairways' offers a secure complex with beautiful tropical gardens and the most attractive heated swimming pool in the area. The pool has a children's area and is supervised all day by a professional lifeguard. The Island bar set within the pool serves food all day long and also evening carveries, alongside the pool there is is also an a la carte restaurant. Fairways offers carhire, several bars, a supermarket, laundry, a take away, video hire, sports bar and more restaurants.

For the children there's a fun play area with safety flooring, slide, swing, climbing frame, table football, and sometimes a bouncey castle . Children's freee organised activities are also offered. As a result, the resort is particularly popular with families as well as those seeking a tranquil retreat in which to relax & enjoy the sunshine and spectacular views.

The Tenerife region

Fairways is situated on the south coast.
Mount Teide the islands's famous volcano is only twenty miles to the north (the highest mountain in Spain) with many walking trails and climbs. Fairways is alongside the rugged Atlantic coast with its dramatic coastal walks. The beaches are shingle,but a short distance away in either direction you will discover safe sandy ones.

Not to be missed is nearby is Los Abrigos, renowned for its many fresh seafood restaurants which surround a picturesque harbour. It is only a short drive away but can also be visited by the new coastal walk from Fairways.
For designer shopping or lively nightlife , Las Americas and Los Cristianos is about a 15 minute drive away.

The Amarilla Golf / Fairways area

Fairways is a beautiful, secure family complex on the coast, where you'll find plenty of places to eat and drink. There is a well stocked supermarket with a delicatessen, a fresh meat counter and a large selection of wines, beers and spirits, a launderette, a takeaway, car hire and excursion bookings are available from reception.

A short walk will take you to the new Marina and coastal path boasting a great variety of sea view restaurants, continue the walk to Golf del Sur and Sanblas its town square with its many bars and restaurants. The beautiful fishing village of Los Abrigos is just a short drive away, renowned for its seafood restaurants, a must if you like food supplied to your table fresh each day by the local boats.

A little further along the coast is El Medano, a vibrant town in the shadow of Red Mountain 'Monta Roja' with its beaches, boardwalks and bars. Also take a trip to the old Canarian town of Las Galletas and watch the surfers as you feast from the local tapas bar.

Fly to Reina Sofia - Tenerife South Airport only 10 minutes from aiprot to Apartment, one junction along TF1 and follow signs to Fairways Club.
There are plenty of taxis available at airport - should cost no more than 18 euros.

Fairways is a lovely, clean, friendly holiday complex, which we have returned to now a couple of times as it is perfect for families with children of any ages. Apartment 505 is a modern, comfortable and clean space with a lovely garden overlooking an artificial waterfall with a small pond full of turtles. It has all the amenities one would want for a home from home. As the sun shines on the garden all day one can have private time or to be more sociable and sit by the pool which is very close. Also there are eateries close by and a handy supermarket, so catering is not a problem. A lovely holiday I can recommend. We had a lovely relaxing time.

My dad, brother and I had a fantastic 5 days away and would love to go back around the same time next year. We kept asking ourselves "how could this be any better" and we couldn't come up with anything.
