Home description
Our two apartments, one family room and the double rooms, all with great views of the surrounding mountains are comfortable and modern. We have skiing at the bottom of our drive and summer walks straight from our front door.

Warm alpine summers and snowy winters make Austria a year round holiday destination. With the freshest mountain air and crystal clear lakes, the Alps are a wonderful place to visit. Situated only 45 minutes south of Salzburg, access is easy and offers real extremes from big city life, to quiet alpine walks. Winter is magical and as we are situated in the centre of the Ski Amade region we have easy access of over 860km of skiing and boarding
Altenmarkt area
Altenmarkt is a small Alpine town situated in a valley looking up to the Dachstein mountains. The town is a traditional, but lively place, with a great selection of shops, bars, restaurants and clubs. There is a good choice of ski and bike hire shops, as well as year round events and activites. Examples include the winter ski world cup, and Summer has the popular hay festival.
How to get there
Budget Airlines Ryanair, Flybe, Thomsonfly, and Sky-Europe all fly into Salzburg from several U.K. destinations. BA are also doing great winter deals as well. Driving from the UK takes about 16 hours, and is easy motorway right up to the last 3km of the journey.

Further details outdoors: Surrounded by Alpine meadows, and alpine forest, summer time can be spent sitting on the balcony, or in winter looking out over the snow covered mountains. Our house is set in a beautiful, quiet location, but only minutes from the lively town of Altenmarkt.

We are open year round and can cater for individuals, families or groups. We have 2 young children of our own, so are well kitted out for children's activites, toys etc. as well as sports like boules, badminton or tennis.
