“Amazing View!!!” What an amazing location & even better view! Despite several maintenance problems everything was resolved very quickly. Excellent customer service from the management company. Wifi was poor but may have been due to the overwhelming demand over the holidays. Don't let the first impression of the exterior fool you this place is a gem!

“Fabulous Girls Getaway” We had so much fun at the Nalu. The suite was recently renovated so it was so comfortable. The location is the best with the activities and shops so close by. The snorkeling just steps away was great and lots of turtles to be seen. The view from the Lanai was excellent with beach viewing, ocean life to watch and sunsets.

“Amazing!” Kihei Surfside was truling amazing. The condo was up date date, comfortable and offered a splendid view of the ocean. Everything was very clean.

“Great ocean view - secluded lanai” We've spent 10 vacations at Waila Elua and four at unit #105. The view looks over the resort to the ocean panorama. the lanai is large, and on the side of the condo away from the rest of the resort, so it is secluded. A row of trees separate in from the resort next door. Construction at the resort next door was an issue in 2012, but that is nearing completion and improves what was already an outstanding view. This condo has been upgraded with marble in the kitchen and bathroom and stainless steel kitchen appliances. The unit has a 58" TV with a DVR and DVD player. We highly recommend this unit, and alli'i Resorts is a top notch management team.

“Great location” We needed to move from our current rental quickly and alli was so great finding us another rental so we could enjoy the rest of our vacation. The location of this unit is great. Right in the middle of the complex - just a quick walk to the beach and pool. Second floor unit with an ocean view and you can hear the waves. The unit could be updated a little more but there was nothing we needed - the kitchen was fully stocked and when there was a minor maintenance item alii Resorts took care of it immediately. We were lucky enough to not have too many neighbors during our visit but I could imagine if you had a noisy neighbor below you it could be an issue. The lanai to this unit is open to the unit below and looks in their bedroom window - a little strange. There is a great pool area next to the beach with a full kitchen and barbeques if you want to have a larger get together. We didn't use it much because our unit had its own barbeque. I did notice the pool area being used by people who were not staying at Elua Village. There is no lock or code on the gate and locals know this. Can't wait to go back and do business with alii Resorts - they were awesome.

“Comfortable home, with well equipped kitchen.” The Elua village is beautiful! We walked the beach path, and saw no other facility we would prefer. The unit we rented had a wonderful view and was comfortable, but we are a little picky and did feel the unit could have used a good cleaning. We were surprised how quickly the cleaning ladies were in and out each day and never really knew what they did other than replace towels and occasionally linens. The pool area was spotless with a fully equipped kitchen in the pavilion, and the grounds were immaculate. Truly a Hawaiian paradise with a beautiful beach and a gated area right off the beach equipped with cabanas for Elua village residents. Occasionally the noise from construction next door bothered us to the point where we were ready to call management, but it is difficult to complain about anything when you are surrounded by such natural beauty. We feel we made the right choice in staying at Elua village.

“As always I enjoyed my stay” I have stayed in this unit several times,so it feels like a second home to me. What I liked the least is the lack of sun on the patio as I enjoy having my meals in the sun. The good part about coming later in the year, I had a lovely veiw of the sunset.

“Sunset on the Deck” Really enjoyed #2106 and the time we spent on Maui. The condo was convenient to the Shops at Wailea and everything else. Most importantly the sunsets were spectacular. The condo was very functional with beds for 5 plus a sofa bed in living room if needed. One caution here is that it is basically on the 3rd floor and carrying baggage and groceries up and down the steps was not fun. No elevator to use here. It is also a very long walk to the main pool.

“A perfect vacation Getaway” This is the second year we've stayed in #401 and we like it because of it's location ( close to the beach, quiet, good walking, views of the ocean and easy shopping.)We are always greeted cordially and any problems we had were always dealt with promptly and courteously. The set up of the house is good for us because my husband at 93 needs to be on one floor. Also we have family who live in Kula and one or two like to stay with us on the weekends and they can have their own private space. We also like having some lawn off the lanai and best of all a view of the ocean where we can see whales spouting and breaching. I do wish the kitchen were better equipped for cooking. There is a need for more baking dishes, a pair of scissors, some mixing bowls and more medium size glasses. The light over the dining table should hang over the middle of the table so that you don't keep bumping your head when sitting and standing in the chairs near the wall. We liked having the pool near by. It was especially nice for my husband to be able to walk up there and get a change of scenery along with some exercise.

“Wonderful week in paradise!” The staff at ali'i Resorts is fantastic and helped us to plan fun adventures for our family throughout our stay. The housekeeping staff was attentitive and worked hard each day to help make our stay great. The property and condo were both very well maintained and beautiful- with spectacular views throughout. One of our favorite features was the patio and the amazing view that we enjoyed while dining outdoors. The beach access was convenient, just a short walk down a paved path to the beach that offered kid friendly boogie boarding waves and rock outcropings for snorkeling. We have stayed in a few of the luxury hotels in Wailea and prefer the relaxed environment of Makena Surf.

“So beautiful, I was brought to tears” Look no further. Makena Surf is the one you want. Post-card worthy views and wonderfully kept grounds. It's Paradise. The scent of plumeria fill the air and sounds of the waves drive every bit of tension right out of you. Save your money on boat charters - snorkeling here has all you could want: fish and docile sea turtles! Just don't snorkel in the afternoon when the winds pick up - it's a little choppy. The morning is ideal. G104 is gorgeous. Beautiful and modern - very clean. But it's beauty does not detract from the real attraction: the view out of those huge sliding glass doors overlooking the beach, ocean and distant island. That's the sight that stunned me when we arrived! It's on the ground floor. Very convenient. Only steps to the parking lot. The beds are very comfy. The kitchen is stocked with standard supplies that you need: of course dishes and cookware, but also paper towels, dish detergent, plastic wrap, tin foil... so you don't have to spend a lot of money at the grocery store. You only need to purchase your food. Just a tip: pack your seasonings in plastic baggies in your luggage. Makena surf has a garden of green herbs you can use like basil, thyme, etc. So I just packed stuff like taco seasonings and bullion cubes. Housekeeping did such a wonderful job. They meet our needs before we even had a chance to ask. Mahalo to them. Please tip them well. They deserve it. Ali'i Resorts staff were always friendly and eager to help - especially concierge service. Michelle, who greeted us was our first "Aloha" and she set the tone for this beautiful trip. She was very accommodating, meeting us earlier than she had anticipated. Words just don't express how wonderful this place is. Book it. You won't regret it. And when you do, can I stow away in your luggage???
