“Very Pleasant, but, a little annoyed and disappointed” The condition and amenities of the unit were very nice, but, the design and layout of the kitchen was poorly thought-out. The space behind the counter is too narrow. Two people cannot work in the kitchen together. The Dishwasher door cannot be opened fully unless the two rear cabinet doors are opened, which means you cannot pass by the dishwasher with the door down. With the narrow space, the dishes, and pots and pans in the rear cabinets are difficult to access. And the glasses and cups stored over the refrigerator are difficult to reach and impossible for a short person. The counter needs to be moved out to flush with the TV wall, and, the rear cabinets need to be mounted above the rear counter. The mirror is a nice touch, but not needed, and infringes upon the efficiency of operation in the kitchen. Nice unit, but, because of the poorly designed kitchen, I would not stay there again, or recommend it to a friend. Other than those flaws, the unit is very nice.

“Great Time” Had a great time at the Royal Mauian. Never did meet a represenitve from ali'i, but they were very helpful over the phone and everthing worked just like they said it would. I would rent agian and agian. The Rroyal Mauian was a wounderful place to stay and close to everything. The only reasaon I did not give my stay 5 stars is the condo is very clean but worn, that's it. I and my family enjoyed the time we spent in Maui

“memorable” I found the unit pretty much as expected except the master bedroom with no water view, but the location of the unit trumps all other factors. Elua village is a wonderful development and the location of 1305 made the experience unforgettable. The unit needs some updating and really cries for a better TV in the living room. The service provided by ali'i could not have been much better. I dealt mostly with Ili ahi. She was terrific and is a great face for ali'i. If I am fortunate enough to return, I will first try to use ali'i for my accommodations. Thank you for helping to make my vacation one of the best ever.

“Fabulous Girls Getaway” We had so much fun at the Nalu. The suite was recently renovated so it was so comfortable. The location is the best with the activities and shops so close by. The snorkeling just steps away was great and lots of turtles to be seen. The view from the Lanai was excellent with beach viewing, ocean life to watch and sunsets.

“Incredible condo with spectacular views” We stayed for 3 months in this wonderfully appointed and comfortable condo. Janna, the landlord, is fantastic and very responsive and helpful although we did not have any issues to resolve. The location is perfect to be within walking to the beach, Ala Moana oceanfront park, and Waikiki restaurants and shopping plus ala Moana Center with over 190 shops and restaurants. We definitely will return and recommend to our family and friends.

“We came to Hawaii to see our God Child Marry” This had to be one of the most memorable trips we've had in a long time. This wasn't our 1st time to the Big Is. so we didn't need to be pressured to see everything, so we stayed in tune with some local things. The Marina now has a restaurant/bar and we enjoyed fish tacos! We walked a-Bay at night and saw a turtle sleeping in the sand aswell as some night snorklers...brave soles! We had hotel pass for pool use and enjoyed the water slide! We had guests over for dinner often and relaxed with the cool breeze at sunset. Sylvia offers everyting possible to make you feel at home and easy to entertain. Our guests marveled at her interior designs..This condo was comfortable for five adults; we'd return in a heartbeat!

“Stunning Suite and Resort” My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honua Kai. The suite was stunning and spacious with all the amenities of home. Situated on the private side of the building, we enjoyed the ocean views and sunsets from the beautiful, tranquil, lanai. An added bonus was the beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear and cooler - even the kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials. The grounds were lovely and every morning we walked the beach walk to the Whaler's Village then back to Duke's for happy hour. Jill was so friendly, accommodating and helpful with lots of advice on the resort and nearby restaurants/sights. She was always a phone call or text away. Overall, it was a beautiful and relaxing vacation and we are hoping to stay in Jill and Terry's suite when we go back this summer. Thanks for making our stay a beautiful and memorable one!

“Great Place” We loved this place and would love to stay again. We stayed for two weeks! The location was great. Not too touristy. Great location right on the beach. Plus they had all of the beach accessories that we needed including beach chairs, towels, snorkels, and boogie boards and a surf board. The house was incredibly clean and up to date, just wish there was a second full bath. Awesome kitchen as well. Cant wait to get back. Thanks Ryan!

“Week in Paradise!!!” We had the most amazing family vacation at Papakea G-407. The complex is located in a great area, close and convenient to shopping, dining, awesome beaches. It is small enough to feel like its your personal space, but has amenities and class of the big mega resorts. The actual unit was very comfortably furnished, had everything we needed, and extras we were not expecting. Sitting on the Lanai, watching the ocean over breakfast and dinner or enjoying a glass of wine was just the best! Our family really loved the fact that the condo was affordable to the point that we could get out, explore and enjoy all that Maui had to offer. Great Snorkeling, Zip-lining, Luau, shopping, many fantastic restaurants and a sunset vow renewal on the beach. The best part of renting from anne and Wes is the care that they took to make sure we had everything we needed for the best vacation ever. Lots of advice and tips that you cannot get from anyone unless they know the island. They turned us on the the best places to snorkel, places to eat, places to shop, things to do. The personal attention was better than any concierge! My family will definitely be back, there is no reason to test out another resort!

“Best Big Island Experience - Unit 14C” We decided to check out Halii Kai condo on our third trip to the Big Island. The condo complex was so beautifully maintained, peaceful and provides a very residential feel. Unit 14C was beautifully decorated and very well furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and came with all high end appliances. Peggy even provided bottled water and a six pack of Heineken in the refrigerator for us. We had plenty of linen, pillow, etc. to make us feel completely at home. We were able to use the beach chairs and body boards during our stay. We brought our own snorkeling equipment. Next time, we might try out the tennis and basketball courts since Peggy provide racquets and balls too. From the lanai, we had a beautiful ocean front view. We watched the whale cavorting in the water all week. There is access to the Trail by the Sea but the closest beach access are those by the Hilton or the Marriott. It was a pleasure to work with Peggy through out the process. We cannot wait to come back for another relaxing vacation at Halii Kai, Unit 14C.

“Great location!” Our stay was very comfortable. The location is great, with many amenities close by. We enjoyed the fireworks at the Hilton on the Friday night while having a drink at the Ilikai's bar. We walked everywhere and found the location was great, away from the hustle and bustle of the main waikiki strip, but close enough to walk there. Would definitely stay here again and will highly recommend to friends and family.

“Perfect Location for a Perfect Kahului Vacation” My husband and I loved this large beautiful roomy condo at the Whalers in Maui. The wonderful fact that it is on the ground floor (no elevators wait time) and entrances from both the front door and direct lanai access to beach was such an added plus. We were literally 30 steps from the ocean yet it is quiet and feels very private. The well-stocked kitchen provided everything (except for the food and wine) for our sunset cocktails and steak dinners on the waterfront. Passers-by were envious of our perfect unobstructed ocean view. This is an ideal spot for a romantic get-away, close to everything we love about Maui.

“The Perfect Condo!” For the past two years we've had extended stays in this condo and another in the same complex that is also owned by Sylvia. She does a wonderful job decorating and stocking her units, and is quick to help if there are any problems once you are there, although we’ve had almost none. The brightly colored walls, the furniture, and all the paintings and artwork provide a warm, “island” atmosphere. The kitchen has plenty of bright Fiesta Ware table settings, pots and pans, and all you need to serve both yourselves and guests. This is an excellent floor plan for guests. The guest room has plenty of space, storage, and an ensuite bathroom. We had other couples with us for almost 4 weeks and never felt crowded or uncomfortable. The floor plan is much nicer than most that you will find in Hawaii. First, the lanai is huge and it wraps around two sides of the condo, with plenty of space to both eat and lounge outside. The kitchen is larger than most condos and can easily accommodate 2 or even 3 people working there. The living area is large, square, and two whole sides are a series of sliding glass doors going out to the lanai, so the views are expansive and there is lots of light. Since the condo is on the second floor, we live with the sliders open almost 24/7. Also unusual, is that the construction of this complex is concrete, so you don’t hear your neighbors. We are so pleased to have “discovered” Vista Waikoloa and Sylvia’s condos and recommend them whole heartedly. Vista Waikoloa is an immaculately maintained property – beautiful, mature trees and flowers, a great pool and spa area, a well-stocked workout room, and nice barbeques where the men seem to gather every night. The location is ideal – easy walking distance to both the Kings’ Shops and the Queens’ Marketplace, with the Hilton and Marriott right across the street and a very short walk to the beach at “A” Bay.
