“Fantastic place for an active and beautiful summer holiday” This is a lovely property in a beautiful Alpine town, in a breathtaking valley. The apartment is great place to stay, being really well appointed, having gorgeous open views, and with a superb balcony that affords those breathtaking views and a loevly place to relax or eat. The town of Chatel is very unspoilt, with great facilities for everything you would need in a stay here - shops selling local produce, inc. food and drink, pottery, fashion and trekking clothing, and much more. Then there are plenty of restaurants and bars ot choose from, to suit all tastes, and many events organised to keep everyone entertained. The walking straight from the place is all anyone could want, and this can easily be added to or varied by taking local ski lifts in the summer, thus extending your range greatly. The mountain biking in the area was fantastic too, as we used trails and roads, and also more demanding downhill runs. Then for those interested in the wildlife the alpine meadows, woodlands and mountain tops are still awash with an incredible variety of flowers in summer. I should think you could spend many holidays here and still be finding new and beautiful things to see and do, and revisiting others because they were just so special.

“Very nice little apartment in fantastic location” lovely nice little apartment for our ski holiday. 200 mtrs from ski rental and 500 mtrs from Prarion lifts,was worth getting the locker there for ski stuff. shops and bakery and bars all nearby. great for the family

“Fantastic apartment, great location with exceptional views!” We stayed at Becuet Apartment for a recent skiing holiday. The apartment is ideally situated within a short drive of several great skiing resorts which cater for both the novice or advanced skier. We really enjoyed the pistes at Vallorcine which were a little bit further away but well worth the drive. The closest resort is Combloux which has got something for everyone. I'm sure it would be equally as good in the summer for walking and mountain biking etc. We found the apartment to be superbly equipped with a modern kitchen in an open plan lounge/dining area. We loved the comfy sofas and huge TV. There are two bedrooms - one with two single beds and one with a double/king size bed. They were all very comfortable and we slept like logs! The bathroom is very modern with a huge, walk-in shower. There are shops within a short drive so you can top up with anything you need. The apartment has it's own entrance but is part of a lovely house which has fantastic views over the valley below and surrounding mountains. The owners - Deirdre and Shaun - were on hand to 'point us in the right direction' and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay in this apartment again and recommend it to friends and family.
