“Romantic revitalizing vacation” My husband and I were celebrating the 40th anniversary of our first date. We were looking for a warm holiday in a private setting . We also love to snorkel and beautiful blue water. This villa exceeded our expectations. It was very private with its own pool. The beach next door was beautiful and the ability to use the grill on the deck was n added bonus on nights we wanted to eat in. The town of Redhook is very close and we took the dollar safari daily and met other travelers as well as friendly locals. The staff at the villas were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time and would recommend the villa highly. Thank you Laverne for your lovely villa

“Tough winter in St Croix” Have been going to Gentle Winds for almost fifteen years.On a busy day there is at least fifteen [people at the beach/pool.Accommodations are great Place is clean and we have become friends with the owner. Would not come for the last years if everything was not great.St Croix is not your typical Caribbean Island as restaurants are reasonable and there is not much ship traffic. A good place to relax.

“Fantastic” If you have never been to St John or are a returning to paradise group you will not find a better villa or location to stay. I travel with my sisters and we love Calicaribe. We have been there twice[ to St John 7 times] and are going back for the third visit in June 2012. It has such beautiful views and a great pool but the best thing is the location. It is very private but so close to town. Everything you need is there. The bedrooms are very comfortable and private. We love Calicaribe because you go to the beach all day or hike the great trails and come back to the villa shower or enjoy the pool and still go back to town in the evening no problem!!! We have stayed at some great places but they are just to long of a drive to do this. We Love Calicaribe and I am sure you will to. We have found where you stay makes a big difference so you will find Calicaribe will make your stay very special. Have a great time... Penny Briggs

“Total relaxation in paradise.( Altagracia)” There were six of us on this trip and altagracia was wonderful. We had good views, nice breezes, and the villa was very comfortable. Was close to town and beaches. We all enjoyed the pool. There was space for all to be together, but areas for privacy as well. We spent most of the time on the wonderful decks. We could see for miles!! The owners did a wonderful job on the remodel. We had a chance to see it during the work in October 2011 and the end result. If you want a outstanding view, great pool, and a superb villa for the price, then altagracia is the one. The staff at Catered To, especially Jason were very helpful with anything we needed. “10 days at a totally awesome villa, with Spectacular Views & Acc” My husband and I have been coming to St. Thomas for 14 years. This is the first-time that we have stayed at TreeTops Villa, and we are looking forward to returning next year. All I can say is -- is it March yet? It was totally awesome waking up each morning with the ocean as our backdrop. Morning coffee on the deck watching the maritime vessels, yachts and cruise ships going by on the ocean with a constant island tropic breeze. On a clear day - you could see the island of St. Croix. As returning visitors - we're pretty self sufficient and know our way around the island. The villa is very clean and spacious, and has everything you'll need - truly all the comforts of home and more. If you're thinking of visiting St. Thomas - then this is the place you'll want to stay at without a doubt! A message to the owner: June, All I can say is I feel I've known you a lifetime! What a way to feel about a person I've met for the first time -- that says a lot in my book. Blake and I had a great time and we can't wait to see you, Steve, buddy and the clan next year -- hopefully our daughter and son-in-law will be able to join us. Oh, by the way - loved the grater (LOL) - found it on our last day :) Keep in touch!

“Far Exceeded Expectations!!!!” I don't normally write reviews about where I've been but I had to write about St. Croix and Villa Madeleine. We honeymooned there in Feb. staying a sun-kissed and we had spent the last 11 months building up our expectations about the place. The Villa and the people on the island FAR EXCEEDED those expectations. We expected some minor glitches here and there but everything was perfect. St. Croix gives you the tourist stuff in town while the Villa (a short drive away) gives you quiet seclusion. If you are looking for Hawaii, this is not the place but if you are looking for a less crowded tourist spot with EXTREMELY polite locals and beautiful beaches then St. Croix is for you. I'm sure everything isn't perfect on the island but you will not be disappointed with anything from Villa Madeleine. The Villa's private pools are thoroughly maintained as are the grounds. Anne seems to work 7 days a week. I've emailed simple questions to her on Sunday and she always replied back within a few hours. She made sure everything was ready for us and we loved our stay there, and if it wasn't for our family in the states we would move there. Thanks again Anne, we will be back!

“Very nice property!” This was our 2nd trip to St. John. We selected this home mostly for the number of bedrooms and it's unique feature, the indoor pool. We didn't know if we would like it as much as we did and in a way it really makes sense. After a long day at the beach we had enough sun so coming back to the house in the late afternoon we found the pool to be fabulous! You do not have to worry about bugs, critters, or debris in the pool either. And there is no pool smell. Nice location for getting in to town and basic food shopping. A little further to drive to some of the north shore beaches but it is not a bad trip once you get the hang of going through town. Would definitely stay again.

“Paradise” We loved Great Expectations so much we returned to it again this year. It is perfect for a group because you have the kitchen/den area, but you can get away because your bedroom is private with your own private bathroom. They have everything you will need in the kitchen. The ice makers are very handy. There is free wireless internet too. The view is breathtaking, but you are still just a short drive to beaches and night life. We will return for our third trip soon!
