“My marvelous time at the Old River House” While travelling through mid-Sweden nearing the end of my journey I decided to stay at the Old River House. I had been staying in some seven or eight other accomodations but it was here that I was completely blown away. The manager Simon and his wife Patricia went through great lengths to ensure I'd have a great time and that was exactly what I got. A marvelous time indeed! Great cooking, wonderful people, beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous accomodation on all accounts! There was just one negative to admit... checking out the next day. I will come back here again, if it's only to check whether or not perhaps it was a dream.
