This is a Must See, One of a kind Geodesic Dome! 12 feet tall!

You will love it so much, it will feel like it is forbidden! ;)

Beautiful birch work throughout the entire Dome. Truly magical Glamorous Camping (Glamping) experience!

Experience the sweetest, romantic and most unique Dome in the Catskills! Right in our back yard, about 25 feet from our house.

Domeo is 12 feet tall at the peak, has two stars for skylights, and a moon in addition to a large bay window.

Ground level: Custom built Birch Table, two chairs, bench (used for extra sitting when renting for 4, or as a coffee table when renting for 2), bedroom with 1 full/double bed.

Custom built birch love seat, custom built birch vanity/sink, retro style fridge and microwave. Coffee maker, electric water kettle. Cedar sliding barn door with birch moon for bathroom entry, custom made.

Birch tree and it's lights add romantic ambiance day or night.

Small loft with a double/full folding mattress for sitting (when renting for 2) or additional sleep space (when renting for 4)

If you are booking for two, only the main bed will be made. Loft mattress is to be used as a SEAT ONLY, unless otherwise requested in advance, and set up by us ($25 additional fee applies for the setup). When booking for 3 or 4, loft mattress will be set up as bed (at no extra fee).

Please Note: you are welcome to grill and cook outside (grill also has a gas burner). Inside you can use Microwave to re-heat food, coffee maker and electric water boiling kettle.

There is no toaster and we do not allow guests to bring any electronic cooking devices due to past problems.

Our Domeo is equipped with AC in the summer, heaters in the winter.

This is a tent and you are camping, please keep this in mind. In the very cold winter days (below 0 F) temperature inside might not raise above 72 degrees F, so feel free to bring extra blankets, sweaters, etc in case you need them.

In the summer, our Geodesic Dome is equipped with an AC and it cools the Glamping Dome nicely, but you should still keep in mind you are in a tent, not a house.

We require that heaters and AC are used on Low or Medium setting only.

Our Domeo is located in our back yard, and we are located in Town of Hensonville, NY (part of Windham, NY). There are homes near us just like in any other small town.

You are welcome to use the back yard around the dome area. Relax by the table with chairs, lounge chair, by privacy fence. House, front yard etc are NOT a part of this rental.

NOTE: Cell phone reception is very spotty in our town. You can log in to WI-FI to make phone calls.

We are in walking distance from a diner, post office, bar etc.

Just 2 miles from Ski Windham, 7 miles to Hunter Mountain. Located in Hensonville (part of Windham, NY)

Walking distance to grocery, diner, newly-opened brew pub / restaurant , and a 4 star restaurant. Off street parking.

Near 100's of acres State Forest Preserves. Ideal for skiers, hikers, Mt. Bikers, fishermen, hunters, or just a relaxing stay in this quaint Catskills hamlet!

Walk to Nana Gail's Cafe for breakfast or lunch, or to Deli / Family Style Grocery for a sandwich or supplies- both a short walk away! Walk to Botavia Kill Creek. For drinks and dinner visit Vesuvio's Italian Restaurant, or the local bar, both just a few minutes walk away!

Short cab ride to other restaurants, grills, shopping and scheduled activities and festivals available in nearby downtown Windham, Hunter or Durham.

Hike or bike to nearby C.D. Lane Park (3 miles away), or BlackDome State Forrest (6 miles-noted hiking trails and open to licensed hunting during season). Golf nearby at Windham Country Club (2 miles); Christmans (4 miles). Several other golf courses also nearby. Zoom Flume Water Park aprox. 30 minutes. Lots of skiing, riding, hiking, hunting, fishing, Mt. Biking, local festivals, farmer's markets and other activities available in local area.

We are conveniently located near the following skiing locations:

Mountain Trails, Tannersville, NY (11 mi)

Belleayre Mountain, Ulster County, Highmount, NY (18 mi)

Enjoy the beauty of Catskill Mountains surroundings! Ski during winter season and have fun at the local festivals during spring, summer and fall!

We collect Security Deposit ($200 - varies depending on number of nights and number of guests) separately.

Surveillance camera is present outside in order to view the driveway, and entry to the house.

In the event of extremely cold temperatures we reserve the right to cancel your booking (for your and our property safety), and will issue a refund.

Free Village Shuttle to downtown Windham and Windham Mountain base during winter on weekends and holidays! Local cab services throughout the mountaintop are also available, as well as Lyft and Uber. You can get here by Bus from NYC, which will leave you within a short 2 minutes walk!

Domeo has an RV toilet. Use public restrooms anytime you are out. Tank holds 5.3 gallons of waste total.
There is a $25 charge to empty the tank, unless you are using it more than 3 nights. See rental agreement for details.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ella (the owner) a message.

If Ella (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
