Les Galets D'Or is the perfect location for a relaxed holiday.With no through road outside you will not be disturbed by a noisy motorbike in the middle of the night ! This delightful studio, with views of the entire bay has everything you will need for a comfortable stay.

Excellent transport links by air and rail and road. More restaurants with good food than you can patronise. Can you find a more pleasant climate? You have prime position on a beautiful bay and free fireworks weekly. The bay is safe and comfortable to swim in.

“Amazing location”

This apartment has an amazing location, set on the 3rd floor of a small apartment block with a lift. The apartment is clean and very comfortable and has everything you need for a holiday stay. It is tastefully furnished and the décor is light and bright. It is quiet at night. The views from the front balcony are just incredible, looking over the port and around to part of the next bay. Also Cap Ferrat is across the bay which displays amazing fireworks in the weekend during the summer. Just sit back with a nice glass of wine and watch all the boats and yachts come and go and enjoy the soft changing Mediterranean light and amazing sunsets. The apartment even has a back terrace where you can enjoy sun in the afternoon, so sun all day if you wish. Several restaurants and a café bar are on the doorstep or you can take a short walk around a coastal track to the vibrant Villefranche Old Town with its many restaurants and bars. So enjoy the best of both worlds. We just love it here, and have stayed here many times. It is total relaxation with walks and places of interest if you venture out, a good rail service from Villefranche and buses run regularly to Nice and to Monaco. We hope to return to this amazing apartment for many years to come.

I had a great time at Les Galets D'Or. I used it as a jumping off point to visit Nice and Monte Carlo and it was also a great spot to just be there and visit Villefranche Sur Mer. My biggest regret was that I had only booked for five nights because I was travelling about. This is certainly a place that I would like to go back to at some point. The owner, Chris, was very gracious when I spoke to her on the phone when I was booking the apartment. Everything was clean and tidy and there were helpful pamphlets of some places to see in the area. You realy don't need a car as public transit was timely and affordable.

As soon as you open the door into this apartment you see the most wonderful view out into the bay. The verandah overlooks the bay and it is spectacular. It is a short walk to the citadel and the town. A car is not needed as everything is within a very short walk. Fabulous restaurants, the beach, the shops. Two restaurants are within two minutes walk!! A fabulous place to sit and watch the people and the boats. Compact apartment but with everything you could possibly need for your stay - including beach mats and seats. There is a lift in the building.

This beautiful apartment in Villefranche, overlooking the old harbor of la Darse, is close to all that the Cote d'Azur has to offer. We have been to Villefranche in all seasons, including autumn and the mild winter, and this location never fails. There is easy access to Nice by car or public transportation and much to discover in this quaint former fishing village on the road to Monaco. Walk from the apartment to beaches or the town center. Have breakfast on the waterfront. The apartment has a modern kitchen and bath and an elevator. But the best part is the view from the apartment and its spacious deck - across the Bay of Villefranche, one of the deepest natural ports anywhere in the Mediterranean, to Cap Ferrat. Once you enter the apartment, the Mediterranean is always with you. And the deck is a great spot to sip Provence's finest while watching the lights come on along the hills and corniches or gazing as yachts and small boats ease their way across the harbor. It's a little bit of heaven.
