The farmhouse is hidden away in the lush green hills of Emilia, but close enough to tour the beautiful region of northern Italy, Venice, Verona, Milan, Bologna, Firenze even the lakes, and coast, ie Cinque terre are all within 2 to 3 hours drive. But if you want to relax and watch the world go by, you can because the farmhouse has been completely renovated to a high standard, with all the main facilities including Wifi and Sat.Tv, but we have gone to great lengths to keep the old charm and character of the old property. In fact we still use the old outside wood oven for making our homemade bread, pizza, cakes, roasts, etc. There's is a spacious terrace overlooking the back garden where you can enjoy it all and watch the sunset. The garden is fully contained so theckids can run around and play. Its possible to go for walks in the woods close by. Within a short drive you will discover the medieval casltle town of Castell'arquato, its a charming town with bars and restaurants. Also close by is the castle of Vigoleno where they pruduce Vinsanto a famous white wine. ( WE WILL SUPPLY 2 CASES OF WINE FROM OUR VINEYARD )There are numerous markets 1 for every day of the week in a different local town. Fashion shopping at the Fidenza village outlet, or some of the classy shops in Parma or Piacenza. In the town of Salsomaggiore, you will find one of the best health and beauty spa's in Emilia. Also in Salsomaggiore is the Salso Golf club, a beautiful course on the hills overlooking the valley. Being the home of Parmisan hams and cheese, many of the factories are open for inspection, so a visit can be arranged. Modena produces the best balsamic vinegar, so try that out.. Busseto is the birthplace of Verdi, so if you like classical music, its worth a visit, then maybe book a the Parma opera house for one of his opera's. If you like fast cars and bikes, Emilia has some of the best, like Ferrari, Masarati, lamborghi, Pagonda, not to forget Ducati
