Description

Accommodation:

Spacious yet cosy chalet, ideal for families or groups of friends.

1 double room, 3 twin rooms (the beds are designed so they can be pushed together to make doubles), 1 mezzanine with 2 single beds and a room in the eaves with 2 singles beds but limited ceiling height.

3 Bathrooms.

Spacious lounge area with 2 sofa's, log fire, Dutch Satellite (many programs are in English with Dutch subtitles), LCD TV and DVD.

The chalet has electric underfloor heating and wall heaters so is always nice and cosy.

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering or in-house catering can be arranged.

Large ski lockers are situated next to the front door for safe storage of all equipment.

Facilities and services:

The chalet is sold on a self catered basis. If you would like catering please ask as we can arrange this for you.

Underground parking is offered or there is open parking at the entrance to the park.

Bread and croissants can be delivered to your door every morning (winter only).

We offer a luggage service so there is no need to carry your bags to and from your chalet making your stay as relaxing as possible.

We can pre-order lift passes, equipment hire and arrange lessons or mountain bike guiding so all you have to do is turn up and enjoy your stay.

There is a bar/restaurant with large terrace in the chalet park with direct access to and from the piste, perfect for unwinding with a drink after a hard day on the slopes (winter only).

Further details

2 weeks prior to your arrival you will receive comprehensive details on check-in procedure, directions, booking forms for equipment, lift passes, activities etc.

On arrival you will go to the PVR Reception and will be met by a member of our team who will check you in, take a security deposit and show you to your chalet. We deliver your luggage to and from your chalet so there is no carrying heavy bags around.

There will be a 24hr emergency number you can call while you are staying with PVR and the reception will be open every day during the season.

In winter:

Peisey Vallandry is a wonderful small resort based in Les Arcs, in the heart of the Paradiski area (one of the largest linked ski areas in the world), ideal for families, from beginners through to expert and everyone in-between!

You and your family will be able to access both Les Arcs and La Plagne using the Vanoise Express cable car in Vallandry. Peisey Vallandry is a great resort for beginners right up to the advanced snowboarders and skiers, with some World Class Freeride/Off Piste routes alongside some wide blue runs and exciting tree runs. As well as skiing there is a wealth of other things to do from swimming and spas, kids play, dog sleding, walking, snow shoeing and nordic skiing. Once you have finished your day on the piste there is a great selection of fun apres-ski bars and classic Savoyard restaurants to sample.

This is definitely a resort you will want to come back too again and again.

In the summer:

There is a large outdoor swimming pool in Les Arcs 1800 (5 mins car)

A 9 hole golf course in Les Arcs 1800 (5 mins car)

A tennis court just next to the chalet park (2 mins walk)

Kids clubs run through summer in Vallandry

We provide airport transfers - available on request

Nearest Train station is Bourg Saint Maurice and has trains direct from UK overnight or can take Eurostar to Paris then direct train from Paris.

Vallandry

The Vanoise National Park is just down the road from the resort and is well worth a visit at any time of year as there is always plenty of wildlife to spot, including Marmots, Ibex, Chamoise, Gypaete and many more.

“Perfect, the chalet had everything that we needed / wanted”

We were an extended family of 3 sixty year olds, 4 young adults and 2 children (6&8). One of very few chalets in Vallandry that genuinely had ski in and out this late in the season. We missed an English language instruction leaflet on how to use the TV - French satellite, Dutch stalellite (with Sky and BBC News) or DVD. However, we asked for help and that was forthcoming. Also the free WiFi enabled us to access anything available on the Internet through iPads. The deep freeze needed defrosting.
