The twin cabins….
Our twin cabins are for people who are looking to have an experience into the Mayan woods living a kind of a fairy tale story. Witnessing esometimes the dancing of the fireflies and the blue birds.
The twins can comfortably accommodate 4 people each one. It has a king size bed and a bunk with two individual beds, a bathroom inside , stand fan ,hot water and a terrace to enjoy a peaceful time into the woods.
Las gemelas….
Nuestras Cabañas gemelas son para personas quienes estén buscando tener una experiencia dentro de los bosques Mayas viviendo como en un cuento de hadas. Siendo testigos de algunas veces de la danza de la luciérnagas y aves azules.
Las gemelas cada una pueden acomodar cómodamente 4 personas. Estas cuenta con una cama king size y una litera con dos camas individuales, baño interior, agua caliente, ventilador de pedestal y una terraza para disfrutar pacíficamente de los bosques.
The location….
We are located near a small town called Macario Gomez in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. To arrive here, you take the Tulum-Coba road to Km 21. As you drive though the town of Macario Gomez, there is a Mayan honey shop on the left side and then a little grocery shop (Mini Chuper) which has a replica Mayan pyramid at its front. Take the white road next to the grocery shop left and drive 700 meters to Escarabo Rojo with its distinctive stone wall and wooden gates.

Estamos localizados cerca de un pueblo pequeño llamado Macario Gómez en la estado mexicano de Quintana Roo. Para llegar ahí, tu debes tomar la carretera Tulum-Coba kilómetro 21. A medida que vas manejando sobre Macario Gómez, a mano izquierda habrá una tienda de Miel Maya y después a un kilómetro una tienda de abarrotes (Mini Chuper) la cual tiene a su frente una réplica de la pirámide Maya de Chichén Itzá. Toma el camino blanco del lado izquierdo de la tienda de abarrotes y maneja 700 metros adentro a Escarabajo Rojo, cual tiene una distintiva barda de piedra y un portón grande de madera.
About Macario Gómez….
Macario Gómez is a town located in the great extension of Tulum jungle, where the Mayans keep their ancient heritage and language. It is also a very well connected area with important tourist centers such as Valladolid considered now as a magic town, the Coba pyramids and some of the most beautiful cenotes. If you feel like buying the most exotic dream catchers and the finest handmade hammocks don’t forget to pop into Francisco Hu May, a town just 1 km away from Macario Gomez, well known for its artistic handmade art and crafts.
Breakfast and dinner….
We offer a continental breakfast included in your fees from 8 am to 10:30 am * coffee or tea, milk, hand-made bread with butter, local honey, jam, fresh fruit or natural juice (plus extras like muesli, yogurt, eggs and savory pancakes with an additional cost).
Our dinner is served upon request at the main house between 7 pm to 10 pm. We love some of the traditional Mexican vintage cuisine combined with some of our European influences. We cook chiles rellenos, chicken in pasilla, albóndigas, pastas, fish and other specialties.
Desayunos y cenas…
Ofrecemos un desayuno continental incluido en tu tarifa. Los desayunos son de 8am a 10:30 am. Ofrecemos café, pan hecho en casa, miel maya, mermelada, fruta de la estación o jugos naturales. Granola, yogurt, huevos al gusto y los pancakes de jamón y papa tienen un costo extra.
Nuestra cena es servida si lo solicita en el area principal entre las 7pm a 10pm. Nosotros amamos cocinar comida vintage mexicana combinada con algunas de nuestras influencias europeas. Cocinamos chiles rellenos, pollo en pasilla, albóndigas al chipotle, pastas, pescados y otras especialidades.
Transportation
If you fly into Cancun, the best option for visiting the area and staying with us is to hire a car at the car rentals at Cancun airport. We think it is the easier this way, as they have the best deals and policies. From Cancun airport, you drive to Tulum town, which takes about 90 minutes. From Tulum pueblo to Macario Gómez takes 20 minutes on the Tulum-Coba road.
Public transportation is also readily available. The ADO service will get you from Cancun to Tulum (via Playa del Carmen). To arrive in Macario Gomez from Tulum, the best option is to take the Mayab bus in Tulum bus station. There are buses every 30 minutes to Coba or Valladolid which stop at Macario Gómez. Their fees are around 25 to 30 pesos per person. Private taxis are also available everywhere in Tulum all day long. Their services are around 150 pesos to 250 pesos to arrive at Macario Gomez.
