“Sun, Sand and Relaxation” Our stay at Villa arrecife was absolutely amazing!! The Villa is so beautiful and inviting, it felt like home. It was lovely sitting on the rooftop terrace at night enjoying the breeze off the ocean. We spent hours swimming or just floating around the pool, it was very relaxing. My family and I had a wonderful time exploring the Ruins in Tulum, wandering the lively streets of Playa del Carmen and swimming with the dolphins at Dolphin Discovery. The Grand Siren resort was wonderful and we enjoyed all it has to offer. We look forward to our next holiday at Villa arrecife!!

“Ocean & jungle view akumal PH @ Casa Quetzal” The best place to spend your vacations! We stay in the PentHouse of Casa Quetzal for 2 weeks. The PH is pn the 3rd floor, the entrance is independent from the other 2 departments. The view is awesome, one side is ocean view and the other side is tha mayan jungle view. The PH is perfect for 1 to 3 persons, and full equiped with a.C., TV, Kitchen, Dinner/Living room, terrace with hammock and outside living room. Near the PH you can find different places to eat, or you can shop in the supermarket and cook delicious food or a grill. You can't miss visiting the Yalku lagoon to snorkel tour, you can ask your landlord for packages of equipment rental and full day acess to the snorkel places, bike and golf car rentals. The akumal beach is perfect to swim and snorkel, and also to spend a hole day relaxing in the sand down a palm tree shadow. A slice of paradise for you and your loved ones.

“A Beautiful and affordable Villa in Paradise” This is a great villa with sleeping arrangements that can accommodate a variety of travelers. I bring groups to learn to visual journal in watercolor - many don't know each other, so the variety of bedrooms and bed sizes etc plus the many lovely common areas both upstairs and down are a big plus. The kitchen is well equipped, the pool and patio area - gorgeous. And it is undoubtedly the least expensive villa in the area due to its location across the road from the beach. It is toward the end of the road, near the lagoon so, unless you are an able walker a car or golf cart or bicycles might be necessary to get to most restaurants and shops. We love the villa and recommend it highly! And we still love akumal after 14 years of visiting there!

“Perfect” My husband and I recently spent our two year anniversary at the Vista del Mar. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed renting bikes to get into town and walking to the Corner Store to buy our sol and snacks. I would recommend the Vista del Mar to anyone looking to live like kings for an extremely reasonable price. We stayed here last July as well and were lucky enough to see a nest of sea turtles hatch at sunset right in front of the condo. The unit was clean and air conditioned and had everything we needed. We always felt safe and that we were being looked out for. We look forward to visiting the Vista del Mar many more times. We've found our happy place!

“Relaxing” This was such a great stay in a wonderful neighborhood. We are home owners in the neighborhood and had to get out of our house for 1 week. We decided to stay here. It had all the comforts of home. It's colors are refreshing and the yard exquisite. Its located next to a beautiful cenote, which we visited every day. I cannot find any faults with this quaint little casa.

“Beautiful hotel, although building site is questionable” Beautiful place. Great views. I find it a bit insane that hotels are allowed to build on actual turtle nesting grounds. Please leave the nesting turtles alone, I.e. don't crowd them with your cameras and bodies. Let them be. And : turn off lights at night to avoid confusing them. Watch from as far away as possible,
