Morning coffee on the screened porch listening to birds and wildlife rise from the quiet night. One can sometimes hear the ocean waves in the stillness. Our newly renovated house is spacious, located on 1.3 acres bordering on National Seashore preserve and a 15 minute blueberry walk to the dunes of Ballston Beach. Reunite your extended family or friendsenjoy companionship yet need private space, easy living and near lots of summer activities. The house sleeps 12 or more comfortably. It is solar powered and has silent a/c heat pumps throughout.It has a sky-lit kitchen, modern kitchen appliances, large screened-in porch for family meals, living/dining room that can seat large groups for indoor meals or game time. A fire-pit outside, plenty of wood for scavenging. There are large bedrooms with great mattresses, ceiling fans and room for relaxing with private space. A windowed, inside bridge over a flowered sun court leads to a 3-story sleeping addition. Downstairs is ping pong, DSL, WiFi, Cable TV, DVD, VCR, queen sofa bed, bathroom and outdoor shower; second floor has the master suite with bathroom and private sundeck; guest room with queen bed; then spiral staircase upstairs to loft area with two twin beds, a double mattress, and room for extra air mattresses-- typically the dormitory room for all the kids and younger adults! There are 2 bedrooms and bathroom in the front section of the house as well.

The villa-style layout gives both adults and young folk plenty of space (including the hammock outside for some summer reading in the shade)! A sun deck and a screened front dining porch makes it delightful.

Our house is an ideal choice for rest, relaxation, and fun. Nature provides great scenery and photographer's clear Cape light.

You can fly into nearby Provincetown airport (small commuter from Boston); or Hyannis Airport (1 hour); Boston, Massachusetts or Providence, Rhode Island airports are 2+1/2 hours drive. Call major car rental companies for reservations.

We have an estate manager, cleaners and other support people to make sure your vacation goes smoothly.

Truro has its own arts community and 10 terrific Ocean and Bay Beaches. We are a 10-20 minute car ride to Provincetown's shops, restaurants, theater, whale watching, galleries, street life, parades, lighthouse and the Provincetown Airport. We are also 10-20 minute car ride to Wellfleet's antiques, Zagat-rated restaurants, Wellfleet oysters, steamers, lobsters, stage theater and family fare (golf, cinema, fishing, boating, Mass Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary as well as National Seashore Ranger hikes and lectures).

We rent Friday to Friday so you can enjoy an entire weekend on the Cape and can avoid much of the Cape's weekend traffic rush

How do damage deposits work?

If Joel (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
