Close to the Beach – Close to the Golf

A 3 Bedroom 3 Bathroom house located close to Torrevieja Town Centre and just a 7 minutes walk to the Sea front and Los Locos Beach. The house is located on a quite residential park road and within easy walking distance of local restaurants bars shops supermarkets etc. Inside there is a fantastic living area filled with Light and 5 meter High ceilings, Modern kitchen with all main appliances , 3 Bedrooms (2 Doubles both with Private Bathrooms plus a bedroom and family bathroom, the villa has Air-conditioning throughout and a European satellite system (some English & Swedish speaking channels). DVD player, Music system, upstairs is a second large living area with Seating, and a computer plus wireless internet access. the bedrooms have (1º room bed 140x 200cm 2º & 3 beds 140 x 190 cm ) Outside is a large shaded Terrace with dining area and a BBQ. At front of the house is a private swimming pool, 2 Sun Beds. Near the shopping mall, water park and have 13 golf fields in a 20 km ratio. ( copy and paste)

Lovely villa only short walk to the beach front with lots of restaurants. Villa in a nice quiet area, About 40 minute walk to the harbour in the 37 degree heat. Spent most of our time in the lovely pool. Grandson fell in love with the top floor chill out area. Claimed that straight away. Mikel met us and showed us around when we arrived. Even took us shopping. Was available if we needed him, but we had no problems.

This was our 1st family holiday, myself and wife and four sons. Two of which are Autisitc, the kids had an amazing time and the privacy we had along with our own pool only added to the experience the children had ( I literally spent the two weeks in the pool with the kids ). Mikel is gentleman who could not do enough for us and was always there if and when he was needed. The location is great - 10 minute walk to the beach and then 15 minutes walk to the main shopping centre ( La Habenaras ) my wife loved this place and the Aqua Park. The villa itself was perfect, bright and modern with everything included for the whole family. Local shops and bars are 5-10 minutes walk. The bus that brought us to Torrevieja town again is only 10 minutes walk,to take in the sights. Great family holiday, the perfect place to relax with family and just get away from it all. We are already planning to come back again next year in 2017.

I am a bit late writing this review but here we go. As many before have mentioned Mikel is a very kind and helpful host who goes out of his way to help. The villa is a lovely with modern facilities and air con a lovely little pool which is well looked after by Mikel. The area is very quiet and like others have said only a 10 to 15 minute walk down to the front where there is a good selection of restaurants and bars. It is only about 35 minutes to walk into the town centre where there are lots of restaurants. I have stayed in the Torrevieja on five occasion's and this is the best area and villa I have visited and would highly recommend to all ages.

We stayed here may/June and have just got home. The villa is lovely, it is beautifully decorated, spacious and immaculate. The pool was a perfect size and much needed in the heat! The beach and restaurants are within 10mins walk, there is a bar there called murphs Irish bar..the food is amazing and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. La boca is also a lovely place to eat and very reasonably priced. 3 course meal and bottle of wine per couple is 15 euros. Both are on the sea front of playa Los locos beach. Overall, we couldn't fault the villa or area at all. Was a perfect week away. Mikel the owner was a pleasure to deal with too. Definitely will return next year.

We have spent eight wonderful weeks in Mikels and Marisa house at the Plaza de los Halcones in Torrevieja. Large and spacious, nicely decorated in part Moroccan style, comfortable large beds, TV with lots of channels, DVD, stereo, computer, wi-fi etc. Not often you rent a house like this: fresh, modern, comfortable and well-furnished, on the Costa Blanca. Quiet and secluded location at the nice park. December and January offered summer heat and one sunny day after another. Sun beds on the south-facing and sheltered patio came in handy. There was even a dip in the pool, although the water was a little cold... A nicer and more socially extroverted landlord you may be looking a long time for. Mikel speaks both Spanish, English and French and he really makes you feel welcome. We will come back here, Mikel. As often as we can!
