The only regret we have about Casa Do Lago is that we could not stay longer. The accommodation is fantastically well equipped , in a lovely setting with a great pool area and Bill and Jude are great hosts. We loved our time here and hope to return

We found this a very welcoming place to stay. It started with the well provisioned welcome pack, which was greatly appreciated. Jude and Bill could not have been more helpful in providing us with good advice and showing us the local amenities. Saying that they also gave us our privacy. The local cafes were also welcoming and full of character. The accommodation and pool were well maintained, modern and very peaceful.

Bill and Jude Thanks very much for sharing your idyll with us during our stay. We arrived as strangers and left as firm friends. The welcome pack left us with little shopping to do making more time for leisure pursuits, and the accommodation was faultless from the well equipped studio to the BBQ and pool. For the first time ever we truly did not want to leave. The area itself is beautiful - mountains, trees, clean air and that amazing view of the river everyday. All of which is taken in your stride with no rush and friendly, generous locals you really are spoiled. Long may it continue.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Bill & Jude (the owner) a message.

If Bill & Jude (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
