The hotel boasts a penthouse and five suites. Rise and shine each morning to the sounds of nature, relax in comfy armchairs on the balconies and take in breathtaking views of the mountains and Caribbean Sea.

The space

Takuma Boutique Hotel boasts a penthouse and five beautifully decorated two-bedroom suites that showcase aspects of Jamaica’s vibrant culture in a modern-day setting. Guests will have fun choosing a bedroom or a fully equipped suite (with state-of-the-art appliances) that is uniquely decorated and bears the name of a historic landmark in Mount Zion. The suites are airy and offer the best of modern-day comfort and can be rented with a personal chef.

All guests will have access to the restaurants Lounge and sports bar or chilling out under the one of king Marley Lion statue which is hand crafted. It took the trademen 9 months to completed the statue because of all the details and workmanship The Marley Lion is the located under the tatch hut on property.

Suites can be rented with a personal chef and butler or guests may tantalize their taste buds with authentic dishes prepared in Takoo’s Kitchen—an open-air a la carte restaurant offering lunch and dinner, featuring first-rate Caribbean cuisine prepared over traditional wood-fire, or at The View Restaurant – an open air/balcony a la carte restaurant offering an eclectic fusion menu with a Caribbean flair, with soulful reggae music and nature as its backdrop. And if guests aren't yet ready to dine, they may relax and order cocktails from The Cool Breeze Sports Bar, while they catch up on the latest in sports and entertainment.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Delroy (the owner) a message.

If Delroy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
