“Immaculate house, beautiful views, great staff, delicious food!” We're regular travellers to Jamaica, but normally prefer the vibes and the buzziness of the South Coast. This year, we opted for the 'gated community' of Silver Sands on the sleepy North Coast - wedged between Montego Bay & Ocho Rios. We picked the location because of the house and it did not disappoint. Modern by Jamaica standards and very well-kept. Dwight, Hyacinth and Cheryl took great care of us - cooking delicious food (upon request!) and keeping the house and pool very tidy. There are plenty of places to relax inside and outside of the house with a group or on your own. The pool has gorgeous views, the hammock & gazebo are a real treat, and you are steps away from the quietest part of the beach. The only downside to Silver Sands is the weather at the time of year we went (December / January) - we only had about 1 hour of direct sunlight a day and the beach was really windy. The area is very quiet - there is not much to do at all - but if you want a chill, drama free place to stay, a beautiful house with a great staff where you can relax and not worry about a thing, Quadrille is perfect. Jayne & Doug were also a pleasure to deal with and you can tell how much love goes into their Jamaican home. I would highly recommend this house.
