The Little Wolf is a charming, romantic and very comfortable holiday apartment with 2 small balconies. Ideal for a romantic and pampering stay in every season.

Located on the first floor of our large Renaissance house built on the ramparts (1291) just near the Schœnenbourg vineyard, this lovely apartment for 2 people occupies the site of the medieval householder's lodging.

A few steps above the garden, the apartment faces south and west. It is extremely bright, thanks to its glazed living room, built as a winter garden on the first level of the great oriel window (large Alsatian bow window) which adorns the south facade of the building.

The small entrance lobby further enhances the privacy of the holiday home, all dressed in shades of braun colors, beige and white.

The little kitchen is very well equipped: refrigerator / freezer, microwave oven, induction cooking stove and oven, washing-dryer machine and dish washer! Of course, all the utensils needed are there, including everything to prepare a good breakfast: toaster, coffee maker, Nespresso coffee machine, water boiler and tea pot ...

Just behind an old timbered wall opening onto the lounge is the dining area: simply reach out to catch the toast! A cosy couch is waiting for you in front of the flat-screen TV. On sunny days, do not hesitate to have breakfast on the small covered balcony, perfect also for a snack outdoors.

After a busy day of sightseeing and excursions, the bedroom, romantic and luxurious, offers a very comfortable queen size bed (160 x 200 cm) with a beautiful small bathroom en suite.

Old timber, wall paneling and solid oak flooring create a warm atmosphere in any season and help make this apartment a comfortable little cocoon.

Dear Judith, Thank you for spending half of your European trip with us in Riquewihr. The Little Wolf apartment you have stayed in earned its official 5 star classification in April 2018. But when we purchased that big Renaissance house built in 1580 it was just an amount of ruins. Bushes were growing through it. Many people thought we were crazy. But our team of craftsmen specializing in the restoration of historic buildings has allowed us to create an exceptional ensemble of 6 holiday apartments surrounding a garden. Our craftsmen used the same know-how and materials as in the past. The century-old beams have been treated with herbal infusions. The parquet is in solid oak. Even the tile adhesive in the bathroom is natural and does not contain any dangerous chemicals. We wanted our visitors to feel good. Learning that you have had a good stay is the best reward for us. And thank you for recommending us to your friends. Riquewihr itself is right in the middle of the Alsace Wine Route. on the Rhine River border with Germany. Alsace is unquestionably spectacularly beautiful. A very special combination of history, culture, scenery, and especially food and wine makes it one of the most delightful places to visit in all of Europe. Riquewihr is a very practical base to visit all Alsace, the Vosges mountains and even nearby Germany and Switzerland.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
