From the owner

The house is modern equiped, inside you can find everything you need to spoil yourself. The living area of 131 sqare meters consists of wide living room, with a cozy leather sofa, with home cinema, modern equiped kitchen and dining area, wellness bathroom with Finnish and herbal sauna. The house consists of 3 bedrooms, two double beds and one single bed. On front terase you can find nice sunny place for morning coffee while on a back terase is a private place for rest after sauna.

The space

We rent our dream holiday home with 131 m², which is beautifully located on the 830 meter high Rakitna. Rakitna location between Ljubljana (30 min by car) and Postojna (30 min by car), our luxury chalet offers both convenient access to the surrounding popular local centers famous Postojna cave, lake Bled and Bohinj, Piran on Slovenian coast.

On the other hand, our guests appreciate the remoteness of the house away from Ljubljana " high life". Beautifully decorated it offers everything what is needed to fully and cosy relax during a cold snowy Winter or on hot summer days.

EQUIPMENT:

-2 Bedrooms each for 2 persons and 1 bedroom for 1 person, equipped with bathroom including SPA shower, Finnish sauna and Herbal sauna

- 1 living and dining room with large sofa and, fully equipped kitchen and flexible TV ( some channels HD). In the living room is located beautifull and romantic fireplace.

- Outdoor kitchen

- Store room including washing machine and dryer, drying rack, ironing board, etc.

Two big gorgeous terrace with furniture , where you can dine , while enjoying the wonderful forest, air and sun.

W - Lan , towels, bathrobes , linens, iron and hair dryer included.

HIGHLIGHTS :

-Outdoor WHIRLPOOL for 5 persons with LED light with unique view to the forest (an extra fee 20 evro per night)

- FINNISH SAUNA and / HERBAL SAUNA including kneipp shower and spa area with 2 loungers and OUTDOOR KITCHEN.

LOCATION:

-30 minutes by car to the center of Ljubljana , Postojna Cave 30 minutes, 60 minutes to lake Bled, 70 minutes to Slovenia coast Piran, Portorož Izola- 3 minutes to the nearest hotel with restorant and 5 minutes to busstation.

Very good hiking and mountain biking opportunities during the summer time on very special and clean air. Rakitna village is famous for special clean air which is result of mixing Mediterranean and Alpine air flows.

In winter, the nearest ski lifts are reached within 50 minutes by car.

Good oportunity for cross-country skiing and ice skating on nearest lake (3 min away).

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Igor (the owner) a message.

    If Igor (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
