11108 - Standish Vantage: 4 min Walk to Commercial Street and Beach!

This charming and beautifully updated, detached condo is located just three minutes from P-town's coveted Commercial Street, and just another minute to the beach. A rare find, Standish Vantage has a prime location walkable to downtown Provincetown and the ferry, plus a private backyard oasis with six-foot cedar privacy fencing that will make you feel like you are a world apart.

There are several “outdoor rooms” for guests to enjoy. Stop by the local fish market for the catch of the day, and grill dinner on the deck, which provides a teak dining set that seats up to six people. There is also a small seating area at the back corner of the yard and a covered porch with a beadboard ceiling perfect for lounging in the shade. After a day at the beach, wash off the sand and salt in the outdoor shower, which offers an impressive view of the Pilgrim Monument. Don’t worry, once the sun goes down, you can still take advantage of the outdoor living space because of the newly installed landscape lighting system.

There is off-street parking for one vehicle as well as a Tesla Gen 3 wall connector charging station in front of the arched entryway leading into the backyard. To access the condo’s interior, however, you’ll need to walk around the back of the condo and enter through the side door outfitted with a keypad.

The updates to the condo’s interior space are a nice complement to the outdoor living area’s many upgrades. The first floor of the condo offers an open concept kitchen/ living area and a half bath. The kitchen, which includes countertop seating for two, has a new bar service set for making Moscow Mules and a SodaStream Aqua Fizz to make your own sparkling water.

Meanwhile, the living room features a pull-out couch that accommodates two additional guests (4 total), a coffee table with board games inside, gas fireplace, a new 55-inch Smart OLED 4K TV with HDR as well as a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player with WiFi and bluetooth. The condo’s cathedral ceiling and dual-purpose furniture make the living space feel much more open and spacious than its compact footprint would indicate.

A staircase in the living room leads into the bedroom loft area, which boasts a queen bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower, as well as a private second-floor deck with two comfortable chaise longues that provide the perfect perch for taking in the magnificent view of Pilgrim Monument.

The free-standing condo has tons of fun details you’ll love, like custom pillows that show the location of the condo on a map, a tray with the name of condo etched on one side and a mini library stocked with Provincetown-focused books, including local field guides, books by local authors and books about Provincetown history.
