From the owner

We are situated in a typical Béarnaise village between the towns of Navarrenx (11km) and Oloron (14km). This area of outstanding natural beauty has much to offer including walking, cycling, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, fishing, climbing, tennis and golf and all within easy reach. There are also many rivers with pebble beaches close by to picnic or BBQ with friends and family. There is a bakery and a pharmacy at the edge of the village.

The converted barn offers high quality, self-catering holiday accommodation for both summer and winter breaks. The barn has been renovated in a contemporary style equipped with everything to make your French holiday perfect! The living area is open plan with a large corner sofa, a dining table and chairs as well as a TV, DVD player and stereo. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric hob and oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee machine, a kettle and a toaster. There are two large bedrooms located on the first floor, one with a king-size double bed and the other with twin beds and a sofa bed if required. Each bedroom is en-suite with a walk-in shower, toilet and wash hand basin. The terrace has a barbecue and wooden garden furniture for alfresco dining.

Set within a private landscaped garden with a patio/BBQ area, there is also a swimming pool 8m by 4 m. The pool and sun loungers are located in a secure landscaped garden accessed directly from the gite garden. The washing machine and a toilet are also accessible next to the pool.

There is secure parking next to the owner's house at the rear of the gite.

Note: If the owners are on site, they will have access to the pool but will give guests their privacy. Contact the owners for more information and flexible changeover days.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Stacey (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Stacey (the owner) a message.

If Stacey (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
