Welcome to Maison Marie, a charming holiday cottage located at the countryside of Poperinge in the triangle of Ypres (15 minutes drive) - Poperinge (8 minutes drive) and the beautiful hills of Heuvelland (8 minutes).

We offer sleeping places for 7 persons.

Private terrace with view on Flanders fields. Free use of hottub and outdoor sauna, barbecue, terrace furniture.

Terrace and garden furniture will tempt you to have a barbecue while enjoying the evening sun.

We offer you all modern comfort.

Cosy sitting area with flatscreen and access to Netflix and satelite TV. You will also find an open well equipped kitchen, bathroom with rain shower. Upstairs are the 3 bedrooms.

Free access to Wifi.

Magnificent surroundings: The area is a paradise for cyclists, walkers, horse riders, etc. With dozens of marked bicycle, hiking and equestrian trails you can explore the area with ease. Also an ideal location to visit all Worl War I (and II) sites.

We work together with local partners for renting (electric ) citybikes or mountainbikes. We also offer guided horse riding tours between the beautiful hills (Rodeberg, Kemmelberg, Heuvelland). You can also make reservation for Battlefield Tours.

Minimum stay is 2 nights, minimum 4 persons (max 7 persons). Extra baby bed is available.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Chantal (the owner) a message.

If Chantal (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
