Welcome home to paradise at Casa Barracuda! This gorgeous ocean view vacation rental house with private pool, located on Playa Hermosa's beach road, oversees the beautiful beach and Pacific Ocean from only 30 meters away. The house is a mere shell's toss away from the sand and some of the best surf in Costa Rica. Wake up in the morning to the sounds of the waves, inviting you to jump right in with your surfboard. You'll think you're on your own private beach, with only a few surfers scattered about in the waves. The sunsets are breathtaking!

Please note that the house's second floor, is the owner's apartment. This owner's apartment has a separate and independent staircase entry on the side of the house. He lives there on a semi-permanent basis and would not interfere with your privacy nor would use the pool area while you are there. He can consider moving out during your stay if you'd rather have more privacy. Please inquire.

Casa Barracuda vacation rental home is modern, with all amenities such as full A/C, wireless high speed internet, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The architectural style is modern with colonial touches such as Nicaraguan tiles and a yellow pastel color.

Our spacious home has three bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a King size bed, closet and ensuite bathroom with combination shower and tub. The two other bedrooms have one Queen bed and one Twin bed in each, both have their own closets and share a bathroom with shower..

The great room has an open concept with kitchen, dining and living areas.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and most utensils, including a dishwasher. The kitchen has a breakfast bar with stools and is open to the living and dining area. The laundry with washer and dryer is right next to the kitchen and can be closed off with a folding curtain if needed.

The glass-top dining table seats up to 8 guests.

The living area has a three-seat couch and a table for up to 8, a flat screen 50" TV with streaming channels and Blu-ray/DVD player. There are two large sliding glass doors that open up to the pool terrace.

Enjoy Casa Barracuda's free-form pool and large covered terrace and a pool deck where you can enjoy the sun and sound of the sea either on a hammock, chaise-longues or on chairs around the round table. Grill that catch of the day or a beautiful steak for dinner on the stainless steel gas grill on the terrace.

The palm-tree adorned and manicured front and back yards are so large you can easily play ball in either one.

Price quoted here is for 6 guests. Up to 2 additional guests may stay for US$25 per night per person plus tax.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
