Sun Monkey is an excellent Villa for a group ranging up to 18 people. The Villa is on the Gulf of Papagayo, and 25 minutes from Liberia Airport (LIR). From its location, the panoramic views of the sparkling blue waters of the Pacific are majestic! Sunsets are incredible. 3 Minute drive and 10-15 min WALK to BEACH. Most ALL other villas of Sun Monkey size/caliber are too high up and NOT walkable unless you are a mountain goat!

Sun Monkey is comprised of a main house and guest house, together totaling 8,000 sf of living space. The main house offers 5 suites (4 Ocean View), and can accommodate up to 14 guests, with 1 suite being a 4-bed bunk room that is perfect for children, teens, & get togethers. A queen bed can optionally be added to "Bunk Room" for a total of 6 beds. The Casita House, features 1 Ocean View BDR, a 2nd BDR, large balcony, family room, & kitchen which accommodates 4 guests. Any of the group, will not feel slighted staying here!

SM offers a relaxing and spacious environment featuring a 60-foot infinity pool/waterfall, a STUNNING pavilion is adjacent to the pool. An awesome space great for rocking, entertaining, Yoga, or massages. A separate rancho with wet bar & BBQ grill is included. Look for the hidden, massive, outdoor shower that could have come from the Flintstones!

House has a well-equipped kitchen with counter seating; indoor/outdoor dining and common areas under vaulted ceilings. A separate den/office area featuring a flat screen cable TV with extensive channel package. Other amenities include stereo with I-pad hookup and high-speed WI-FI throughout. Sun Monkey is comfortably decorated and it's professionally landscaped 1.75 acres, enhances the villa and lots of privacy. Villa is double gated w/security. 3 Minutes to beach and 1-minute drive from main road.

On-site daily housekeeping, concierge, caretaker, & (licensed) security, is included at Sun Monkey. Maria & Macho are your Sun Monkey "genies" - Your wish is their command.

Maria can make light breakfast. You must purchase food or Maria will shop. Beds made daily & clean. Do not leave dishes for her. She is off Sunday.
Recommend tipping $2-$3 each per guest/day. Discuss with Macho additional requests. You will have clickers.
Turn off AC/lights while out. Don't leave doors open w/AC.
Hang towels for reuse. Do not sit on furniture in wet swimsuits/suntan oil. Wash sand off outside shower/hose. WIFI & stereo will work your devices.
Do not flush sanitary products.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Peter (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
