Welcome to Condo Castillo de Arena (Sand Castle) managed by North American Standards (Nasplaya). Castillo is located in The Elements Condominiums in Playa del Carmen on the Yucatan peninsula in Quintana Roo, Mexico. It boasts breathtaking views of the Caribbean Ocean, as it's located just across the street from Coco Beach.

Walk in and enjoy the open-plan kitchen, dining/living area, and spacious terrace, with the ocean in just about every view. The unit’s signature colors provide a soothing backdrop for regional artwork. New fixtures and furnishings abound, including an all-new remodeled and fully-equipped kitchen. Every window includes both sheer and blackout roller shadings for your privacy.

Entering through the front door, situated to the left is the guest bedroom with two twin beds and en suite full bathroom, recently updated. Straight ahead from the front door and slightly left finds you at the kitchen, bar, and separate laundry room with washer and dryer. A dining area with seating for six, and a living area with 55-inch 4K flat-screen TV, intelligent Blu Ray player, and satellite service, expand your entertainment options.

Spanning two walls are floor-to-ceiling windows with unobstructed views of Coco Beach and the Caribbean. The view is simply amazing and wraps the unit from the kitchen all the way around the terrace, situated just off the living area. There is literally nothing but a small beach access road between you and the beach.

To the left of the dining room, a separate hallway leads to the master bedroom with a king bed, en suite bathroom, also recently updated, and a 36-inch flat-screen TV with satellite service. You’ll find ample storage in each bedroom for clothing and other personals.

Access the terrace from either the master bedroom or the living room. Delight in unobstructed views of the ocean and property. Cook a steak or burgers on the full-size Weber gas grille.

The Elements property boasts the largest infinity pool in Playa del Carmen. It’s perfect for lap swimming and is adorned with small shimmering glass balls along the pool floor. Lush vegetation and comfortable lounge chairs line the pool, making it perfect for couples, families, or anyone looking to relax and have a little fun.

The Elements Beach Club, reserved for residents and guests of the Elements Condos, and just a short walk from the unit, offers food and drink service, umbrellas, palapas, hammocks, and lounge chairs. As far as you can walk, either north or south, the beach, with its cool white sand, stretches in front of you and the aqua water is safe, warm, and inviting for swimming all year round.

The Elements also has a business center with computer terminals, wireless internet throughout the complex, a health club, and a rooftop terrace with Jacuzzi and massage tables. The Elements is ideally located, within a short walk of the vibrant 5th Avenue scene, but far enough away to enjoy a quiet afternoon or evening. A walk or short cab ride is the ticket to nearby fine dining, shopping, and nightlife.

great condo location - excellent view from a great deck

The property is well maintained. There is a beach club nearby but the music was always stopped by 10pm. The support staff was very friend. NASPlaya did a good job with our excursions.

Thank you for your feedback. The main issue we had with this guest was the transportation. Because of these issues we are now only transporting guests from the Cancun Airport to our rental properties and back. Our drivers know Playa del Carmen well and the Cancun Airport - they are not so familiar with other cities and other complexes. This all did happen on a Sunday when we are closed but we do have an emergency number listed on our voicemail which the guest never called, which would have allowed us to resolve this issues quickly. In terms of the coffee maker the maid accidentally broke it during the check in cleaning, but it was replaced the day after the guest checked in. We did have also an issue with the a/c but that has been fully resolved and the entire a/c unit replaced.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
